How important are the little lock logo-thingys usually displayed in lower left corner on website order forms or other pages asking for personal info? I have been assured by someone that they have a current valid security certificate but there is no indication on the website.
The program they are using is Zen Cart.

A checkout page (like PayPal or NewEgg) where you enter account info and other highly sensitive info should always have secure settings.
