Has anyone else been having trouble viewing YouTube in Firefox 3?
Since I downloaded Firefox 3 over half of the YouTube links I hit tell me that the video has been removed, but I try the same link again later and it works. I never had this problem before downloading Firefox 3 unless the videos actually had been removed, but now it doesn't always seem to be able to find them even if they are there. If anyone has any advice on what may be causing this I would appreciate it. Thanks.

1. It works for me.
I forget if youtube needs shockwave or flash, but you can update them both at www.adobe.com. See if that solves your problem.

3. I've only been using Firefox 3 for a few days, but no problems so far.

YouTube requires Adobe Flash and I have the latest version, so update it if you haven't already.

Also, try disabling your extensions. If that solves the problem, then re-enable them all and disable them one by one to determine which one is the cause. (I'd start with the audio/video related extensions and any type of download manager.)

Did you install Firefox 3 over Firefox 2? You may want to uninstall Firefox completely, then reinstall Firefox 3. Be sure to back up your Firefox profile(s).

Instructions are here:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox

Firefox 3 uses a new file format for certain profile data, so you'll have to delete a few files from your profile before using it. The link I gave you explains it all in detail.

Good luck! :hi:
