Just got my Kindle ask me anything.

First impressions are good. That screen is amazing i went out into the bright daylight and had no issues reading it.
Web browsing is a little slow and monochrome, books seem to download rather quickly.
Has a great feel to it.

1. Got the wife one

as an anniversary present. She's an avid reader and I hoped that a subscription with it to the NY Times would also make her more interested in it. She dropped the Times subscription the first week but she downloads books and takes it with her everywhere.

We talked about jewelry, but that just goes in a box for the most part when she gets tired of wearing it, and this was something she could use a lot.

I'm going to play with it when I get home in less than two weeks.
