OK I am confused...downloaded a .zip file, and a program to open it |
|
and every time I try to open it and choose the program I want to use TO open it, it just tries to install the program again! What the hell am I doing wrong?? It's a music file, and it won't open with Windows Media Player. If anyone is able to help me with this, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

to handle it - I think the file may be corrupted or something...canetoad was kind enough to help me try several things last night, and now I'm going to try to save it to my flash drive and try opening it at work...I have WinZip at work, which I don't have at home. I downloaded 7zip to try to open it and it's just not happening...

Try Total Commander... http://www.ghisler.comIt lets you navigate inside compressed files just like they were directories. Supports all the major compression formats too.
