Web 'guys' opinions on Digg?
I've recently started using this from DU to "share". But, just now after Digg'n, firefox locked up.
Is it the Digg site? Is it messy like some of the social sites? Is it considered a social site?

1. What version of FireFox? Digg is one of THE internet properties, very popular site
consisting of user generated (submitted) content.

For me, Digg plays friendly in IE7, FF 3+, and Google Chrome.

2. Firefox 3
I run one window with multiple tabs. It has started launching a new window.

Some guys were talking about how trapped up MySpace is, and I wondered if Digg has the same type of cross .. whatever they called it. Maybe a lot of apps and fetching.

5. I stay away from MySpace as it is an uncontrolled nightmare- Autoloading music, video and god knows
what else.

Digg does none of those things.

In Firefox -
Tools Menu
Options
Content tab
Check "Block pop-up windows"

6. That's what I needed to know.
"Digg does none of those things."

 I'll keep trying. btw, pop-ups are blocked. I think that only happens from DU (not other sites), but not sure.

I haven't used Digg, so I can't really tell you much about it, I do use Stumble which is supposedly a similar program in which fellow stumbler's recommend sites in different areas of interest. I imagine it could be called a social site, but I really don't have any contact with other Stumblers. I love it and Highly recommend it.
