Help please!
Edited on Tue Feb-03-09 01:44 PM by dgibby
I have a new windows wireless vista compatable mouse and keyboard. For some strange reason, the question mark key suddenly stopped functioning; however, the forward slash still works fine, as does the shift/caps lock. I've tried everything I can think of, but it's still not working. Any ideas short of buying a new keyboard (imagine a question mark here)!

On edit, I just discovered that the left shift key and caps lock keys won't work with the question mark key, but the right shift key works-how weird. Any one got a clue about this? It's kinda difficult to right shift for the ? key. OBTW, the right shift and caps lock keys work for everything else.

1. that's one I haven't heard before. I'd send it back if it's new and
within it's warranty. What brand is it?

3. Sounds as if the Keyboard is defective..
If you can't take (or send it) it back to where you got it, prepare to jump through hoops and listen to endless hours of Enya on the phone.

Good luck.

7. Unfortunately, being new is no guarantee.
For example, I just bought my wife a Linksys WRT54G wireless router for her cable modem.

The Linksys would not recognize the signal from the cable modem until I flashed the bios on the Linksys. Out of the box, brand new, state of the art, it would not work with a standard cable modem.

Alas.
