updated firefox in the last day or so - how do you go back |

it updated and now today it has crashed a bunch of times and send error report and closes all browser windows - it was doing it once in a while before this update but this is ridiculous
|

I honestly don't know. Do know, however, that after updating to 3.0.5, I now have to end task in task manager most of the time to get the process to quit (even after I "X" out). Curious what others are going to advise you.

I haven't had any crashes yet. Maybe try disabling some of your plug-ins and see if that will help with the crashes?
Sorry I don't have a solution for you... And I'm not just posting to rub-it-in that mine seems to be working fine! Just wanted to let you know that the upgrade isn't causing crashes for everyone.
FYI - running XP SP1

6. I am on xp sp1 - don't think I installed anything else - that is an auto update |

not sure how to change that - not sure why it is crashing - interesting you are fine - so it must be something else that is in combination with it

You have to uninstall Firefox, and then reinstall the requested version from here: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/
