A question for MAC users
First off I know nothing about a MAC and have never looked at the OS.AOL is causing a lot of grief for a friend so how would you completly remove AOL from the computer? Is there a registry or some such to clean out and how? How do you set up for a new dial up ISP?
Thanks in advance.

1. If your question was "how to remove an application from an OS X computer..

....as an old windows user I was amazed at the complexity of removing applications from OS X. What you do is grab the application from its nest in /applications, and throw it in the trash.

That's it. No registry. No Contro Panel/ add or remove programs.

As far as setting up for a dial up connection, this is from OS x help:

onnecting to the Internet using dialup PPP

If you entered your network settings using the Mac OS X Setup Assistant or Network preferences, you are ready to connect.
To connect:
1 Open Internet Connect, located in the Applications folder.
2 Click the Internal Modem icon in the toolbar.
3 Choose a configuration from the Connect pop-up menu, and click Connect.

If you haven't entered your network settings, open Network preferences, choose Internal Modem from the Show pop-up menu, and enter the settings provided by your ISP, such as the access phone number, your user name, and your password.

You can also use the Network Setup Assistant to help you enter network settings. Click "Assist me" in the Network pane of System Preferences and follow the onscreen instructions.

For help setting up your connection, click Next.
