What's Viewpoint Media Player? |
|
My son was home from college and after he left I started getting a pop up that says my Viewpoint Media Player was updated and for me to click on the update box...I can't close the pop up, the only way to be rid of it is to shut down the computer. I ran spybot and it did not find anything...how can I get rid of this? And,,,how did I get it? Thanks

3. Set a system restore point. |
|
And do a back up.
Then if it is more crap, you simply undo everything. If not, you get rid of *known* crapware.
That said, *anything* you download off the internet is suspect, period. At some point, however, risks must be taken.
You've got a problem... there seems to be a solution. Your call.
Good luck.
