Screen resolution tray utility for Windows XP
I used to have a screen res adjustment tool in the task bar tray when I had Win98. I don't see one built in to XP. Anyone know a good free one somewhere?

Thanks.

1. Just right click on the desktop and select 'properties.'

4. I could do that, but...
You have to minimize your windows, select settings tab, work the slider, confirm, and restore app windows.

It's nice to do all that with one click from the system tray, especially if you want to do it a lot. It comports with the Laziness Principle* which should always be observed.

*On a computer, the laziest way to do something is the right way to do it.

2. Nvidia makes one for their videocards
You can try this: http://www.greenparrots.com/aqr.html

No idea if or how it works... did a google for "freeware, display".
Try "freeware, display resize".

3. Probably the best one out there...
is PowerStrip Or MultiRes

Supports almost every video chipset out there, allows tons of tweaks and optimizations.
