How do you get computer to quit running on "safe mode?" Win98

1. Not a problem
Go to START, then RUN
Type in MSCONFIG
A System Configuration utility will come up
In the General tab, check the Normal Startup selection
Go to Advanced (lower right) and check Enable Start Menu

Click Ok and reboot

When the Start Menu comes up, select normal startup.

Enabling the Start Menu is a precaution and may not be necessary, because selecting Normal Startup may be enough. You may try just that WITHOUT enabling the Start Menu to see if that works first.

When it boots into Windows a box will pop up notifying you the System Configuration Utility was used. Check the little box to disable the popup from reappearing.
