Any good spam blockers for Outlook Express?
Yeah, yeah, I know don't use OE, but that's not too helpful so don't post it.

Is there anything I can do to cut down on the amount of crap in my in box?

1. Other than stay out of the porn sites?
Install & use a virus protection program.
Clean the cookies. Leave only those generated by worth while sites such as DU
Delete history
Install a fire wall.
Use Spybot.
Use Adaware.
Clean all the unless crap out of your registry. Pay money for this. It's worth it after a while.
Never use AOL for anything. ANYTHING!
Remember free e-mail providers have to make a buck somehow.
Do a little research to find out if your own internet provider/e-mail provider isn't providing you with this service.
Don't use IE unless you have to. Find something else.
Don't use Outlook for anything unless you have to. Find something else.
These last 2 are large security holes no matter how they are patched. That's what makes them so easy to use for both you and the bad guys.

3. Just out of curiosity
What keeps you on OE? Thunderbird will import all your mail and settings if that's what you're worried about. Not picking on you, really, just curious.

4. the best spam blocker, IMHO is
ChoiceOne from Digiportal. I believe it's Digiportal.com

The minute you install it, you will get zero spam. Nothing can get through, unless the sender is on your "whitelist." If they are not on your whitelist, they get a message back asking them to click on a link and verify that they are a real person, by typing in a code that a computer could not read by itself.

It works with any system. I am not affililated with the manufacturer or anything. I just use it and I know it works. I believe there are a couple other similar products out there but I'm happy with this one.
