I need some simple Javascript help |
|
I have a frameset site I'm building, a rush job for a company in another state. They have a really clunky way of navigation, but customer gets what customer wants.
Details --------------------------
I'm trying to get the onLoad function in the body of a page to load another page into a separate frame.
I'm using Dreamweaver, my current code is as such
<!-- function MM_goToURL() { //v3.0 var i, args=MM_goToURL.arguments; document.MM_returnValue = false; for (i=0; i<(args.length-1); i+=2) eval(args+".location='"+args+"'"); } //-->
<body 0nl0ad="MM_goToURL('viewer','port_viewer_pack.html');return document.MM_returnValue">
I've switched the o for 0 to get past the DU code filter, viewer is the name of the target frame - and I don't know if it's because I'm surfing these pages locally and not on a webserver or not, but I can't get the dang thing to work *shrug*
Any help?

"...don't know java yet" Java and JavaScript are two totally different things
"..macromedia" If someone sends me a resume and they have macromedia JS code in their pages, that resume goes straight to recycling.
