Burning DVD's to play on home player...
I have tried several times to burn a DVD to play on my home player with no success. I'm not sure if it the formatting, or what. So is there a special format I need to burn them in so they'll play in my home player? I just purchased a new DVD player that will play +/- DVDr's but I can't figure out HOW to burn them so my new player will play it! It's REALLY frustrating!

Also, what's a good burning software to use? I've been trying to use the Intervideo WinDVD software that came with my computer, but it doesn't seem to do a very good job!

Please help!

1. First stop by and read here:

Some DVD players are finicky about the type of media you use.

And what exactly are you trying to burn?
I've successfully copied and compressed movies with no problem using DVDShrink and Nero 6.

Good luck.
