I don't know what happened,but I've been unable to connect to my yahoo email account.
Error message:Connection refused.
Can anybody help me with this? I've been having trouble with my phone lines since the hurricane(I'm on dial up).

Try disabling your firewall (briefly) and then connect to the Yahoo mail server and see what happens. If it works go back and see what you changed or added recently in your firewall and correct it.

I checked on the firewall and found it was disabled(!).Guess it happened when the power went out.I installed some updates and rebooted the system and now it works like a charm again.it's still a mystery to me,but I'm not complaining.
