If there a way a PC can read a CD burned on a MAC? |
|
There are a bunch of images I need, but they were burned to disk with a mac. How can I read these images and files?

My brother-in-law gives us videos made on Macs--our video player can read them but our computer can't. If you have Quicktime on your machine it might be able to read these CDs. (Otherwise, you can download it for free from Apple--go to www.apple.com and just search for Quicktime 7.0.3.) Mac software is pretty proprietary and it's hard to translate the product to PCs. Maybe you can ask whoever gave you the original CD to reburn it in a format you can recognize--i.e. jpegs, gifs, etc.? Adobe has products that work on both systems.
