I don't even know if it is a problem.
Use to be when I turned my computer on the Welcome Screen would come up and I would click on my account and the computer would go to my desktop.
Now the welcome page pops up briefly, shows no accounts then goes directly to my desktop???!!!
I am the only one who uses this computer and I can't recall changing any settings. The computer runs fine, I did a virus scan, nothing turned up. Anyone have any ideas what is going on?
BTW it it windows XP if that helps
befuddled

Click the Start button, then click the Control Panel link, and then double-click the link for User Accounts. -Click the link for Change the way users log on or off. -Look to see if the check box to select Use the Welcome screen for fast and easy logon is checked or clear. If you want the Welcome screen check the box. -Click OK.
If you DON'T want the welcome screen also turn off the Guest account.
