PC Audio experts! Please Help!

Here is a summary. Audio does get to the Audigy card on this machine, we know this because it comes out the monitor speakers on that machine.

We have a streaming application, M3W, that worked fine for the last several weeks there,, and it appears to be running as it should, with all the numbers moving, and it indicating it is connected to the Audigy card, but the level meter in the streaming application shows nothing, and it is streaming out pure silence!

And I cannot figure this out. I am trying to get this done over the phone as I am 1700 miles away and I am SO frustrated.

Can any of you help with this???

1. We found the reason.
Skype.

It hijacked the audio settings.
