Anyone scrapping out old computers
I need a newer video card, the one I have is eight years old and won't work properly with xp, the one i took out won't support color, it looks like it should, but this is a recycled business computer, so I put my old plug and play card in.
It works fine when I'm connected to limewire, but gives a scrambled picture when I try to watch videos, if anyone has any let me know.

Rage 128 card with 32Mb. If you have an AGP slot it will work. The scrambled picture may not be the card though. What are the specs on your computer? Do you have the proper drivers for the video card?

When I installed xp, I already had the card in here and it was working with 98, so I thought there might be an issue with the age of the card and the new os.

3. It probably is the driver
Win 98 drivers won't work with XP. You'll have to go to the manufacturer's web site and download and install the XP drivers for your card. Do you know what card it is?
