Lesson no.1, Kittens can look at but not touch my feathers.
"Very good girl Ping, look but do not touch!"
This one is going to be a good one, she will obey me.
<>

"No no no no, bad Pang!"
This one has been nothing but trouble and she's only six weeks old today.
This is the first feather she ever met and she wants to destroy it.
I will have to train this one.

2. Expecting cats not to pounce on peacock feathers...
...is a little like expecting them to not protest loudly if you lock them outside the bedroom on cold winter nights. You might get the occasional one who will put up with it, but I wouldn't count on it on a regular basis.

3. Careful, Ping may change and so may Pang

my kittens alternated through these stages. I remember when my mischief was the quiet nice one. Now shes the crybaby. Sasha used to be the cry baby, now shes the independent terrorist. Nilla was the toe biter but mischief took over and does it now. I don't know how many times I've blamed the wrong cat then caught a "sibling who wouldn't do that" in the act.

6. So adorable
Don't be concerned about Ping, Pang is just the "leader" when it comes to mischief - Ping will soon catch up after observing her sister..
