I spoke to a vet-teck at the hospital they brought the kennel dogs to. He said they started out with something like kennel cough and in two weeks they seemed to be getting better, then they crashed and developed pneumonia and some died.
My Vet says that bull dogs, pugs, older dogs, puppies and other dogs with face folds that can cause respiratory problems will be the ones with the highest mortality rate.
