Update On The New Kitten
Well, it's been big fun assimilating the newbie. She and the big dog are fast friends already, and since one of the older cats has always been the dog's pal, she's now coming around a lot because she wants to be by us and the beastie. So, every day after work, it's me, my wife, the big beast and the two kibbies hanging out.

She minds superbly. She wants to do the "jump on the table" "scratch the chair buttons" and stuff. All we have to do is sternly say "Greta!". End of undesirable behavior.

Yesterday, she was playing with the big sis. She got a little too frisky and too much of it. So, the cat hissed. The dog, who was eating a rawhide bone, jumped up, walked over there and leaned between the two. I could just hear in my head his thought as he looked at the two of them. "Is there a problem here?" He's a good boy.

Anyway, she's healing from her fixin' and she's about to be given 24/7 open range of the house. (She still sleeps in the old dog kennel, which was big enough for Barney until he was about 40 pounds. That was his "timeout" zone during early behavior training, but he outgrew it. I couldn't get him in there now with a crowbar and 10# of grease. But, it's a little apartment for her.)

Just thought the other pet folks would like to know. No need to reply.

2. Yeah! ... and we really do like pics!
Someday I have got to get an e-camera. I know I will wind up taking 100's of pics of dogs, but - hey - they are the cutest subjects I have around here. ;-)
