My spoiled girl
I put the pillows down on the couch to keep her off...

This is her answer after I asked what she was doing there:

Talk to the paw

But, how can I get mad at this face:

3. No, she's a big grey
She's a retired racer. She ran until she was almost 5 years old..she's 7 now. I've had her for 2 years, and she's as sweet as she is pretty.

6. Oh, she's pretty.
My first husband's family had a retired racing greyhound who looked a lot like her -- his name was Topper. He was one of the sweetest dogs I'd ever run into at the time. They had other greyhounds, over the years, but the ex-father in law had taken Topper out of racing because he'd broken a toe, and his fellow Air Force guys were going to have him euthanized because he couldn't run anymore (they'd bought him as a group, as an investment), and the ex's dad said 'don't put him down, I'll take him.'

8. In another life
she must have been a Siamese cat!

Beautiful dog by the way. And hey, the fur color sort of matches the couch now doesn't it? :)

14. that is a very special photo
That first one, especially. Seriously, it's the type of photo one might expect to find on a calendar or something.

Really, you ought to get it published somewhere. It's that unique.

16. Speaking of "talking to the paw"
My cat Greenlee does that to me. When she doesn't want to have anything to do with me, she shoves me away with her paw.

What's really funny is when she snuggles up to my husband's tummy at night. If it flops over on her too much, she punches it back to where it's supposed to be.

17. LOL! What an amusing and insulting cat!
My terrier, Sara, is always swiping at me with her paw. It either means that she's hungry, wants to go out or wants to be petted. I get her nails trimmed on every other vet visit!:D

18. awww, I love those! We had to break ours from the couch
after puppyhood. Two large dogs meant no room for anyone else!

19. We had to, also, except for the dachshund, Brutus.
I tried laying out foil all over the couches and it works somewhat but when we're not home, they're getting better at nudging the foil out of the way. So now I've started penning them when I leave. The pen is at the end of the sunroom and there's a doggy door there so they can either hang around outside or stay inside where there's a big futon mattress. They like to stay in the pen area even when the pen is open. Of course, Brutus can only get on the furniture by invitation. ;)

Here's a picture (before we got the futon.)

21. What a love
She is lovely! How very lucky you are to have such a greyt hound.

My husband and I have two greys, an 8 year old red brindle male and a 3 year old black and white female (plus 2 whippets and a Siberian Husky).

I've always thought of 'lanky' dogs as awkward but not this beauty.
