The wildlife are enjoying Christmas breakfest
Wild bird food in the finch-style feeder, sunflower seeds in the little wooden feeder and peanuts on the ground.

The blue jays are competing with the squirrels for the peanuts this morning.

what are you giving your wild life for Christmas breakfest?

1. I did exactly the same as you, but also threw out some cut up apples and
an old sweet potato for the squirrels. The cats are having a ball watching allthe outside antics!!!

2. Bushy Tail Treat for the squirrels
I get it at the local wildlife store. It has corn, various kinds of nuts and two kinds of sunflower seeds. They just love it, and the Blue Jays like it once in awhile too. Niger, safflower and sunflower for the birdies. And I make sure the bird bath is always clean and the heater is in working order. I think they all like that the best.
If I have any leftover grapes the squirrels get an extra treat.

Slate gray Junco
Red Bellied Woodpecker
Brown Capped Nuthatch
Red Breasted Nuthatch

4. Handed out homemade dog biscuits
to the raccoons. They're all pretty tame in my neighborhood. :-)
