midnight serenades
it's usually our 19yr old snowshoe that treats us to a midnight serenade a couple of times a month... wanders about the house singing songs for a half-hour or so

now the 6-7 month old kitten joins in -- the kitten is in heat and will be going to the vet for spaying this month...

it's quite a duet...

1. My cat gets the midnight crazies
In the middle of the night, just as I get ready to go to bed, Boots proceeds to run around the house, making a lot of racket, both with the running and serenading. Needless to say, I can't get to sleep.

2. Charley is a midnight mutterer
Last night he wanted to play all night. First he grabbed Pad Thai by the neck a little too hard. Then he started playing with my foot. So he was brr brr brr! and Lily and Pad Thai were both growling at him. All this was going on on my bed. It's no wonder I can't get enough sleep.
