1. How could anyone let their innocent Golden Retrieve drink out of this!?!?

And, frankly, I see water *all* over the floor with the cat bowl... ;)

2. Can't you just imagine the comments
if you have this set up in your kitchen? I love it, but it's way too small for my dogs. They soak up 2 liters just in their beards.

5. the need for giant waterbowls
I fill the 12 liter dog water ever 2 days... and gosh, i'm always amazed
at how much dirt they drop in the water just drinking. One would
imagine they wash their faces in it too! :-)

Sometimes i forget to fill the bowl, and then whenever i
walk in to the kitchen, dogs come round and rattle the bowl
to send the message home to the big dumb ape.

Outside, i've positioned a ceramic dog bowl under the
rainwater runoff pipe, and this is full most of the year,
but they prefer to come inside and drink tap water. Maybe
the fluride helps their teeth?

6. We have a 'lixit' on the spigot outside
for them. It's great for the big dogs but the poor pug cross can't reach it.

4. My cat would knock that bowl over and spill water every where.
Her water dish is a heavy stainless steel pot with no handle. Even then, she still drags it around. :(

The impracticability never matters when you are laughing so hard that you are crying.
