1. Very funny.
I've seen and heard cats chatter at birds or squirrels, but this fellow really does bark.

2. This isn't unusual
I had a cat a long while ago, Lucifer, an orange tabby who could literally chirp blue jays out of the trees - he learned to mimic their calls.

Cats are so smart that way. . .

3. My cat can say my name.
Edited on Tue Feb-21-06 09:50 PM by superconnected
I don't mean meow it. I mean clearly say it. My name is Kelly.

It freaked my mom out when she moved in with me. If I lock my cat out of my room etc., she starts yelling my name. If she wants my attention, she just says it. My mom loves it when she does it in front of her friends now, but it still freaks new people out.

5. I would like to see this as well. . .
I always think I can understand what my cats are saying (I'm hungry, I want to play, etc.) but they don't say my name!

8. One of my clinic mascots used to call me "Wa-Wa", but everybody
else he just called "Wa". I like to think he was saying Mama - that's what I referred to myself as when chatting with him.
