Pics of my new foster kitten
Here's Shekra, who was found at Busch Gardens (when their new ride "Shekra" opened). She was mewing from inside a car engine in the theme park parking lot! Luckily, some college kids heard her, and today she's keeping Khephra company. He thinks that she's a great new toy, and she's just happy to have a "big brother"!

1. I'm thoroughly convinced that Lorien has a cute kitten factory in her
basement or something.

:)

8. Toys and natural light
you'll notice that nearly all of my photos are taken in the same spots;near the only two windows in my home that have good light! Soft natural light is a must for good pet pics, as the flash can flatten their features.I get them a little wound up with a toy before I start shooting, then I pull the toy towards the camera or light source right before I take the shot. I also take A LOT of photos-blurring is the biggest problem in low light. I erase far more than I keep, unfortunately. :hi:

I tell ya Jen, you should start a new business, doing cat photography. You are so good at it!

At least Khephra has a pal for the moment. I feel better about that now :-) . Shekra has very expressive eyes! Wow!
