Another rockin' week for our animal rescue

Six dogs adopted this week, including a three-year old lab/newfie mix that came to us heartworm positive and in terrible shape and an incredibly fearful little girl that had been abused and was one day away from the gas chamber at the local shelter when we pulled her out. It took months to find homes for these two but they are absolute loves and deserve to be loved in return.

When I heard that Lucky was adopted I teared up. I'm a 45 year old man and it made my day to know she found a home. She's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. How anyone could have abused her is beyond me.

He looks a lot like my chocolate lab - Sajdeh. Saj is undoubtedly smaller - no newfie in him, but otherwise they have similar faces and similar expresssions.
