Guess what my SO gave me! No, really, guess.
Okay, give up?

:wow:

I couldn't believe it. Our friend's dog had puppies and I didn't think for one second that the SO would let us get one. Then last night, this little one showed up at my door.

2. Molly.
I always thought that was a cute name and she's already answering to it! My other dog Rogue (pictured in my sigline) is being a really good big sister. She's bringing the baby all her toys and she's trying to let Molly nurse on her (weird!). Rogue has never had puppies of her own so I think she's really enjoying this.

3. It is great when the animals bond.
I had a foster dog for about six months who never really bonded with my two dogs. I found a great forever home for him, but I *really* wanted to keep him. But it was just too stressful with the other dogs.

I am glad Molly is such a smashing success with Rogue! :)

4. I'm so happy!
Rogue has always liked other dogs, but she also gets a little anxious around them as if she doesn't quite know how to act. So, I'm so glad that she's taking to the baby so well. She's a little jealous especially if I'm petting the baby, but overall she seems quite happy with the situation.

5. Oh what a little cutie!
Congratulations :-). She looks so much like a Lab/Shepherd mix we had (Misty). Have fun! Can't wait to see more pics as she grows.

Also, it sounds like Rogue loves her already.

10. Thanks!
She's definately half lab, but we have no idea about her other half. Maybe shepard. The mommy got out one day and a few months later, out came the puppies! The owners didn't even know the mommy was pregnant.

I will post many more pictures as she grows - that is if she sits still long enough for me to take them.

7. That's a really cute little puppy
I'm happy for you, your dog and your SO! Is it a lab mix? My brother's dog looked like that when she was little and she was half lab - half Beagle/cocker mix.

12. Yep! Half lab half who knows what?
She's too funny. Right now she's trying to grab the tags on her collar, and she's rolling around growling at them.

She's so sweet! She looks a lot like my first dog, also named Molly. She was a wonderful, wonderful dog. I hope your new baby will bring you as much happiness. Congrats!

20. Thanks!
She's a lot of fun, and smart! She's picking things up so much faster than our other dog did at that age (not that there's anything wrong with our other dog, she's just a little slow).
