I am feeling the Drag of the Old Energies and it REALLY bugs me

I know, I know...we aren't going to just wake up one day in Utopia and have our energies all balanced FOR us
and our Earth Healed majically
and all our problems just fixed ...

BUT SHEESH

I can't handle the news at ALL
and GD is just turning my stomach.
The ignorance, the anger the division and the sheer stupidiy... I can't even bear to look at it.
You know and I know that those energies are done and over and finito...so WHY are they still getting so much airtime and being catered to by the M$M ...why do we have to keep giving any energy to the idiocy?

I think I need to unplug, and that is also part of the issue...at the same time I am trying to overcome a cold and get some extra rest, i am mentally antsy and feel like I need to do more..whether it be working in the yard or mopping the floor...I am still avoiding my real work projects, lol!

Had a huge spider drop right into my computer space first thing this morning, made me actually scream out loud!
...he was unlike anything I had ever seen, had stripes on his legs and everything...I caught him & let him go on the lawn.
But I am still feeling like any minute I am going to get bit or crawled on... it is the same feeling of the energies

I know the danger has been removed, but I am still uneasy at the core. And it is wearing thin on my nerves.

1. Spiders are the symbol of the Goddess

It was likely a garden spider (a.k.a writing spider) you took outside, and I'm sure the Goddess is pleased that you didn't just swat her. Were her legs striped and her body yellow & black?

Stay out of GD until you feel better. That place is a jumble right now, and if you're the least bit weakened (physically by the cold you have or emotionally by all the crap out there) you don't need to get in the middle of the weirdness.

2. Couple of things...

If it's the same garden spider kookaburra speaks of, I just saw one in my garden and it had a huge, beautiful butterfly ensnared. :( I know it's Mother Nature but still...I have a hard time with the natural cycle of things.

Secondly, I feel as you do, FirstLight. Uneasy at the core indeed.

Yet, as I've written elsewhere, I honestly don't know if it's peripause or something else. My nerves are rather fragile in general right now.

I'm staying away from GD as well. Ughhhh........

3. We don't "have to keep giving any energy to the idiocy"

The extreme idiocy of it is making that clear. It doesn't need us to continue. We don't need it to continue. We have better things to do, eh? :hi:

Remember too, this is when the miracles happen, the rocks get turned over, the truth will out. Eventually. :thumbsup:

I went to the first meeting of a community conference on the New Moon. A couple speakers, breakout discussion groups. Even in common cause, it seems people do not know how to listen to each other (overgeneralization) well or at all. Why keep :banghead:?

4. I understand...

In a sense it feels like, not belonging, and why is there so much vile, and we thought, as a society, especially Dems or here on DU, to have a little more respect and understanding in the spirit of benefit to all. I think many are not done with the energies, and that is why it is a good thing that people start discussing and processing these societal problems, even if all this should boil over. Perhaps we are gearing up for some massive shift, and some incident will be a turning point - or many. It is not in vain.
...and we can be the fly on the wall, totally in peace, minding our own business until the time comes when we can contribute or are needed in any way.

Yes, my mom watches CNN & MSNBC all day, which repeats the same clips and information gazillion of times in a week. Imagine, her hearing is poor, too. The bombardment of the same stuff does drive me up the wall. Unplugging is a good thing.

The spider is a great analogy. :)

Meanwhile, I have to constantly ground and center myself. For the past week or 10 days, I have had pains in my joints and am quite fatigued. So your cold and my pains must be a symptom of these energies inside.
I feel like I have been revved up waiting for every signal to change, only to find out the signals are spaced closely together.

5. Absolutely I get this!

I haven't intentionally looked at the news since about the first week of August. I can't take anymore rage, insanity, and division. I was responding way too much in kind, emotionally. I also can't fathom why freedom of speech translates into publicizing staged fear-mongering lies without questioning their whole premise, must be making someone some money on that stuff.

I came to the conclusion that I cannot control all this, and keeping my head caught up in the insane hoopla was harming me and helping no one. I was more miserable than I can say over allowing this crap they call "the news" to own my emotions. And no, the liberal discussion boards are anything but discussion, and have been way too decisive for me for a while now, it was just hard for me to see through my habits into what was hurting me. I am grateful to have this group, it is a good source for me. The only other discussion board I can handle right now is sports, (I can still discuss football and basketball without becoming owned by negativity, LOL!).

Big spider, ick. I try to catch and release when I can, but take lives when I have no choice. Maybe the Universe was trying to tell you to stay off the news on the computer because it is disgusting and venomous! ;)

I always try to see the beneficial side of my animal friends... but that idea really resonantes...

too many problems for little old me to fix in one day *sigh* so much social change to accomplish, so little patience with stupid people! :rofl:

I have alot of work to focus on, and maybe it is time for me to just knuckle under and let the rest of the world work it out for themselves!
