Do you feel it? Something big is brewing.
My Partner and I have been feeling this build-up for several months now. Last night our best friend said the same thing. The curious thing is that we all perceive this caudron brew from our own very different perspectives:

My partner - an introvert, self directed and instrospective: thinks this bubbling brew has personal implications

Best friend - globalist, spiritualist: thinks the bubbling cauldron indicate a large global shift.

Me - combination of the two, but the only one who is tuned into the national mess: i think it is the White House mess finally reaching the boiling point and spilling over the top.

I actually think we are all right.

3. I think so too
I remember last November a shortly bit before the election having this feeling that something HUGE will happen to bring down Bush. I never saw anything but I think it's this Rove/Plame/Wilson case. ;) I think Fitzgerald is going after something else. Hopefully.

7. there is nowhere in my post "a wish"
for anyone to be "brought down." I am not sure how you arrived at that, but let me clarify further. What I was referring to is that metaphorically speaking, if the world is like a big stew pot, the heat seems to have been turned up lately. What my friends and I are feeling is a big shift in consciousness. The fact that the White House is now reaping what they have sown is only part of the big picture. If they happen to be "brought down" due to their own actions, that is beyond any of us to have caused.

10. My sense is that the "stew pot"
reference is a creatively candid realistic theme.

I also gathered that a main aspect of your original post was that you and key others in your world(s) are aware of big changes afoot which bode well for so many souls working for a better planet, representing both a brighter future and a transparent, ultimately corrective, view at what has been "ailing us."

Thanks for putting into heartfelt words what I have been feeling myself for a while.

12. I agree so much
I was just posting in the coincidence thread I started, and what you say is so very true.

What used to be such a horrible time of the year for me is finally a happy time again in spite of death. Kind of making lemonade out of those lemons we get handed once in a while.

I think feelings of truth and justice coming to the fore is better than saying you want horrible bad things to happen...even though most of us wouldnt wince if certain political things DO happen to certain people hehe.

Crosby Stills Nash Young - Long Time Gone Lyrics
It's been a long time comin'
It's goin' to be a long time gone.
And it appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long time,
Yes, a long, long, long, long time,
Before the dawn.

Turn, turn any corner.
Hear, you must hear what the people say,
You know there's something that's goin' on around here,
That surely, surely, surely won't stand the light of day.
And it appears to be a long, (yes it does)
Appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long time,
Such a long, long, time,
Before the dawn.

Speak out, you got to speak out against the madness
You got to speak your mind,
If you dare.
But don't, no don't no try to get yourself elected.
If you do you had better cut your hair.
And it appears to be a long, (yes it does)
Appears to be a long
Appears to be a long time,
Such a long, long, long, long time,
Before the dawn.

It's been a long time comin',
It's going to be a long time gone.
But you know, the darkest hour,
Is always, always just before the dawn.
And it appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long time,
Such a long, long, long, long time before the dawn

8. I've felt big things brewing all year.
On the individual level, every single person that I personally know has gone/is going through major shifts/events in 2005. I believe that same major change/event energy is playing out on both the national and global level, as well.

Yes, you did send it to me...thanks! It's remarkable how peaceful I feel when I read those things you send.

I'm doing fine....considering the context of this thread. I'm working, but there are no paychecks, and the partner that has the money and writes the paychecks is pissed off, so he's not writing them. Republicans.

I'm working on contract for a start-up company, and it's (for us contractors) kinda like being the kids in the middle of a divorce.

I love the work, and have met some nice people.

How 'bout you?? Have you been getting any more rain? How's bidness?

we are HOT (109º yesterday- didn't look today) some dry thunderstorms here- common whne the monsoon is starting up. Another fire close by from lightening strikes so this morin gwe were smoky with orange sky..hotter than blazes again today. Had some clouds and WINDS and a wee bit of rain. ...but at least it broke a bit of the heat.....hoping that some of hurricane Emily's moisture will help us out later this week.

As far as business...trucking along nicely...am enjoying doing the illustrations & cover art!!

Stay cool...or dry...or both!:hi:

19. I'm going to be a pragmatist and say -
it's not necessarily a spiritual tsunami that's wreaking havoc in Washington and causing them trouble.

It's just practical matters. I believe the war in Iraq is such a mess that the power brokers have had enough. It's my understanding that there is a "shadow government" in Washington which really calls the shots.

I've read lots of denigrating news, even from an "insider" like William Kristol who loses no opportunities to lamblast the Bush administration and its "Follies in Iraq". He blasts RumsFool on a regular basis, even though Kristol is a PNAC:er and lusted for war as much as any of them. So something's going on behind the scenes.

I think if there are people behind the scenes pulling the strings, wouldn't anybody be disgusted with this crew? They can't do anything right. Bush certainly bombed on the SS mess.

I do believe, in addition, that people are waking up to the mess that these people have created. If the US survives intact, I'll be amazed. I'm seeing people get mobilized. They're starting to become more vocal about their objections.

I think we ALL want them out. The public in general, and the Insiders. But it's going to be the well-connected who will do it.

I'm so glad to hear this! Kristol is such a huge PNACer, I'm stunned he's daring to speak out against the boy king.

Bush certainly bombed on the SS mess.
Yeah, but he's still stumping for it. He's not backing down.

Edited on Sun Jul-24-05 07:16 PM by NEOBuckeye
As far as I'm concerned, anyone whose name is associated with PNAC should be tried at The Hague for War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity.

Kristol wanted this bloody war -- he got it. He has no right to complain about how things aren't working out the way he had hoped.

21. Mars
Today my mother, an astrologer, told me that Mars will be closer to the earth this August than it has been in something like 5,000 years and will appear in the sky as large as a full moon. Mom went on to say, "I am worried about this, Mars is the planet of war, and the way things are right now, this is quite frightening." I told her about the discussion my nearest and I have had and I told her about our discussion here and she agrees: There is a major shift, something big brewing, change coming.

Nancy Waterman, if you read this, could you chime in on the Mars phenomenon?

27. Not the closest but
on October 30th it will look as close as it was in 2003. The usual distance is 140 million miles but at that point it will be 43 million miles. In 2003 it was about 35 million. To our eye it will be as close, very noticeable in the sky. Not bigger then the Moon, but brighter then anything but Moon and Venus.

Retrograde Mars can be difficult in good times and certainly these are not the best of times. In 2003 the retrograde was in Pisces where it has some dignity as the triplicity ruler of Pisces.
This retrograde will be in Taurus, where Mars is in detriment. (Don't know if that is good because it makes Mars weaker or bad because it's more irritated) Venus rules Taurus and as sweet as she sounds she also has a role in war.

I took a quick look once and Mars will station direct (8 Taurus) in December within a degree of bush's mid-heaven. The retrograde starts October 1st(? from memory) but we could notice some effects when it reaches the degree of 8 Taurus that it will later retrograde back to.That comes in mid-August.

So...no astrologer would be too happy about this time. On the other hand it can't hurt to observe Mars when so bright and large and sort of make friends with it.

30. every two years we catch up to Mars...so yeah it IS closer, but...
not as close as the phony story going around would have one believe...
http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2005/07jul_marshoax.htm

Beware the Mars Hoax

Earth and Mars are converging for a close encounter--but not as close as some people think.

July 7, 2005: There's a rumor going around. You might have heard it at a 4th of July BBQ or family get-together. More likely you've read it on the Internet. It goes like this:

"The Red Planet is about to be spectacular."

"Earth is catching up with Mars the closest approach between the two planets in recorded history."

"On August 27th … Mars will look as large as the full moon."

And finally, "NO ONE ALIVE TODAY WILL EVER SEE THIS AGAIN."

Right: "Close Encounters" by graphic artist Duane Hilton.

Those are snippets from a widely-circulated email. Only the first sentence is true. The Red Planet is about to be spectacular. The rest is a hoax.

Here are the facts: Earth and Mars are converging for a close encounter this year on October 30th at 0319 Universal Time. Distance: 69 million kilometers. To the unaided eye, Mars will look like a bright red star, a pinprick of light, certainly not as wide as the full Moon.

Disappointed? Don't be. If Mars did come close enough to rival the Moon, its gravity would alter Earth's orbit and raise terrible tides.

Sixty-nine million km is good. At that distance, Mars shines brighter than anything else in the sky except the Sun, the Moon and Venus. The visual magnitude of Mars on Oct. 30, 2005, will be -2.3. Even inattentive sky watchers will notice it, rising at sundown and soaring overhead at midnight.

You might remember another encounter with Mars, about two years ago, on August 27, 2003. That was the closest in recorded history, by a whisker, and millions of people watched as the distance between Mars and Earth shrunk to 56 million km. This October's encounter, at 69 million km, is similar. To casual observers, Mars will seem about as bright and beautiful in 2005 as it was in 2003.
