Reading a Book About Crop Circles
I thought I'd post a few of the more interesting things I've learned.

First, the name of the book is Secrets in the Fields by Freddy Silva. I haven't even finished the book and I know I have to get this one for my home library. I borrowed it from the public library where I'm vacationing. It has tons of pictures and diagrams.

First, almost all the crop circles convey some message expressive of the intelligence of the circlemakers. Examples:

--a 240-foot circle that was a "precise replica of our inner solar system, down to the planetary orbit ratios around the Sun..." There was also representation of the asteroid belt.

--a circle called the Wheel of Dharma. On this one, the correspondence is to an important teaching in Buddhism. Each symbol on the crop circle's wheel corresponds to a path/insight that is to be mastered by the soul in pursuit of achieving the ultimate spiritual union.

--some of the designs refer to Einstein's theory of relativity and quantum physics.

--another has the tree of life integrated into the design.

--many have conveyed mathematical theorems unknown to humans at the time

Ninety percent of the crop circles appear in England. There is a reason they appear there, and the author goes into detail about it. It has to do with ancient sacred sites, water, vortexes, electro-magnetic energy etc.

There is a large community of people who study the circles. Researchers have been attacked by the UK government and I mean that literally. They take helicopters after them and buzz them. The UK gov't also pays farmers to harvest their crops early, thereby destroying the crop circle. They do not want people to see what is being conveyed.

The circlemakers are wise to them, however. When the government has a circle destroyed, the circlemakers just build a duplicate someplace close by.

There has been a huge, coordinated effort of disinformation with the circles. The idiot media has played right into it. The gov't has achieved their aim of making people think that crop circles are done by hoaxers.

Some are but the hoaxes are easily discerned. The media is not astute enough to pick this up and convey it, however.

The author described some of the disinformation tactics and, having been a "hidden persuader" at one point in my career, I can tell you the tactics they are using are very sophisticated.

Healing can take place in a crop circle. I had goosebumps on my arm when I read that a woman had used or applied some of the plant material in an attempt to cure an illness. As a result, a rash appeared on her neck--in the form of the crop circle.

I know I'll finish this book when I get back to NJ (tomorrow). I hope to post more on this thread in the future. I've already got an order in on the book.

Hope you enjoyed reading this. :)

Cher, on vacation.

2. Do you remember this one?

http://yowusa.com/et/2003/et-2003-05a/2.shtml

(The first time I found this site, the article had links to continue to the next part. I don't see them now.)

(Don't know that I agree with the articles conclusions (it suggests disinformation from some researchers). But it is the most complete information on this occurrence I could find.)

This began with a coded message that Carl Sagan and others sent to outer space in 1975. Sagan didn't live long enough to receive the reply. Nassim Haramein explains this in the presentation I viewed on google videos. In ASCII code, we told them we are carbon, have 2 strands of DNA (diagram included), small heads and large bodies, live on the third planet from our star, etc. They sent an ASCII code message back reporting that they are carbon and silicon, have 3 strands of DNA (diagram included), large heads and small bodies, and live on five planets with three moons. They included the message posted below.

“The whole formation covered a very wide stretch of crop, probably one of the largest in square feet this year!”

Two very large and complex pictograms appear in same location as August 13, 2000 formation according to Crop Circle Connector researcher Andreas Mueller.

Beware the bearers of FALSE gifts & their BROKEN PROMISES.

Much PAIN but still time.

BELIEVE.

There is GOOD out there.

We oppose DECEPTION.

A "hidden persuader", hmm? That's interesting.

I looked up Silicon:

Interesting that crystals are silicon. Carbon/crystal composition...

3. what I find even more interesting about silicon
is that, like carbon, it has 4 valence electrons. What makes carbon such a good baes for life is that its valence electron structure allows for very strong bonds with many other elements, providing the strength and variability of the many different structures needed to support life. It seems to me the subject came up in my bio class -- I don't remember the details now but I think the professor implied it was a matter of chance that life is carbon-based, not silicon-based. Silicon offers many similar properties to carbon.

It also reminded me of how so much of Star Trek was based on, and extrapolated from, real science. Remember the episode about the silicon-based life forms? "We" were finding and messing with or destroying piles of round, soccer-ball sized crystal rocks, and then our people were being disintegrated, with only some black carbon ash imprints in the surroundings. It turned out the rock balls were their infants or children...and we were destroying their nurseries! :-)

5. Oh yeah, you reminded me..
part of the message Sagan sent was our periodic table. They sent theirs as well. All Haramein said about that was, there were some differences. Wouldn't you love to see theirs?

4. A good radio interview with a crop circle researcher
<http://paranormalradionetwork.org/search.aspx?q=crop&sc=t&dt=3m&al=none>

I really enjoyed the "Eye to the Sky" show interview at the above web site on the UFO Paranormal Network. The lady interviewed is Suzanne Taylor who is a long time crop circle researcher. She made a film about the phenominon and this is the web site for it (though I haven't checked out her web site, but did just love hearing her interviewed). <http://whatonearththemovie.com/>
