My mother fell and broke her knee and it doesn't look good...positive light desperately needed...

she's 89 years-old and when they went in to set her knee, the surgeon said her osteoporosis was so bad that there was no way to "fix it"...they set some pins in her leg, but the recovery will be long and painful. She will most likely be bound to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. At 89 recovery is a relentless uphill battle.:cry:

My mother has always been a strong, independent woman, who was a RN (nurse) all her life. She doesn't know how to respond to being the "patient" and needing so much care.

Also, my sister was just diagnosed with pre-cancerous colon mass. She has surgery to remove it from her colon next week. I'm so glad they found it early...recovery looks :) but slow.

With all this, I still have hope. I think the overwhelming events that have happened in my life these past few months are speaking to me. I have to admit, I still wonder if it's this house we moved into a few months ago! And lastly, I would like to add one more thing to the "stranger-than-strange" category.

Friday, I was in a hurry to get my landlady paid, so I cashed my husband's paycheck at a Walmart next to the bank (Bank of America) she uses. (she lives in a different state and she wants her tenants to deposit the rent in her account) After filling out the deposit slip with the cash payment, I sat at the drive-thru window waiting...and waiting....and waiting...,until finally, a teller blared over the intercom, "Ma'am, you are going to have to come in the bank, because one of these hundred dollar bills in counterfeit!" Stunned for a split-second, I yelled, "WHAT"? Five seconds later, I was whipping in a parking place--with my two kids in tow--half-parked, barreling through the glass doors of the bank. My heart was racing and I was in shock, so I'm sure I looked like a zombie on their security camera:D

Long story short, the teller was very nice, but she had to confiscate the $100 and send a report to the Secret Service. My daughter asked, "Mama, is that the same Secret Service that protects President Obama?" "Yes," I said, with a blank stare. (looking back it was a good educational experience for the two kids;)

I called my landlady, told her what happened, and sent her a copy of the report since her account was where the money was to be deposited--just in case the Secret Service contacts her.

ALL of these "events" happened in the last four days. What. Is. Going. On? :shrug:

Seriously, does anyone have any idea what the "energy" in all this is asking of me or trying to show me:shrug: I need some new perspective here.

Just take it one day at a time and you will get thru it. Your mom has given care all those years, now she will hopefully be paid back in kind for all the good she's done for others. I hope she won't be in too much pain and that will be managed for her.

I don't have any idea what might be causing this. Maybe your astrological chart is being hit hard right now.

4. Did you alert WalMart

that they are passing counterfeit $100s? That has long been a fear of mine when receiving large bills. Your story is inspiration enough to buy one of those markers that identify counterfeits. Sheesh!

Bless your mom's heart. Not long ago there was a study posted in the Health forum that indicates that eating 10 prunes per day actually increases bone density in women. It's more difficult to do than I imagined, but I pursue it. Does your mom like prunes? They could be lightly steamed to soften.

I'm glad they caught your sister's mass. She needs to take care of herself too!

I've gone through those periods when everything seems messed up. It makes one really question *reality*. And I sure never wanted someone telling me, "this will pass". But, after a while, I started telling myself the same thing. Do anything you have to to get through it; short of self-destructive/defeating behavior.

5. Dear Blue_Roses your mom's health is not your fault so any message there is not for you

The same with your sister. It is hard when you care to let go of any sense of responsibility but it's not your burden to shoulder. You can help, assist, encourage, facilitate, support and best of all love your loved ones but please do not take responsibility of things that are a combination of chance, lifepath and karma.

I personally feel those sensitives and channelers who are reporting that time is speeding up are correct. In other words any poo around that could hit the fan is about to hit a souped up jet engine of a fan. it's not just you, it is most people getting hit with any debris lying about.

as for the landlady. whew. she is an entity magnet, porous and wide open to any bugaboo who wants to hook on. think of 'em as the equivalent of psychic cockroaches, not deadly dangerous but nasty filth spreaders. Nothing you can do about or to help her, only clear & shield your place as your right as a renter. if it was me I would ask my Higher Power to bless the place and dedicate it as a place of Light - Sacred Space - as long as I live there. Only that which is of the Light may enter, all else is prohibited and barred.
