Heads up: this Mercury Rx feels like it's going to be a bad one. |
|
Now, don't get me wrong, I believe that free will and fastidiousness can help us all navigate through the madness, and I personally don't plan to let it interfere with any of my purchasing/moving plans during the next three weeks, but whatever you do to protect yourself from Mercury Retro Issues--I recommend doing it. I've lost count of the number of things that have been FUBARed in my life during this shadow period, and I've seen a lot of relatives get totally pwn3d as well. I'm kinda dreading the actual retro.
So be careful, ASAHers. It could get nasty.

Congress when they return. Will it all be a sell out of we the people?

11. From what I understand about merc retro, is that it's ok |
|
to resolve issues that were initiated prior to the start of the retrograde. And as we have been working on this since, oh, 1945, I think it's about time to wrap this baby up! :P

Was thinking today... is there ANYONE left in the country that doesn't know Congress will be debating this this month? I for some reason have a good feeling about this... that a viable reform will pass and that this admin will look pretty good because of it. I just don't see it failing at all.

The truth is, I can afford better, so I'm not going to settle for a location that makes me even "a little" uncomfortable in the ways the Rural/Miller places did. (Thanks, by the way, for your note; it helped me decide.)

GOOD FOR YOU !! I'm impressed. I just felt that you were "settling", and moving too fast. If there's one thing I learned in my years in Real Estate, and house hunting through 2 marriages over the years is....when you think you have found the house that you want ...but something just isn't right, or doesn't work out for some reason.....look for something else and you usually find the perfect one!:fistbump:

7. Well, this is going to sound really silly, especially coming from a woman who thinks |
|
that the planets do not, in fact, make anything happen, they're just a reflection of things happening, shifting energies and circumstances, etc., but...
...ask Mercury (or Hermes, if you prefer) to be nice to you during this retrograde phase. I swear to god, that worked for me during a Saturn-retro-to-direct phase in 2007.
Other more practical ideas include making as few (major) decisions as possible, avoiding the purchase of electronic and/or communications devices, triple-checking any contract you sign prior to signing and (my favorite) talking as little as possible. Sometimes, the "point" of a Merc Retro is less talking.
But I'm not above begging, which I've already done a lot of.

8. I think you're right, September will be a tough month |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-07-09 07:24 AM by Callie McAllie
but I've been thinking it will be because of the Saturn/Uranus stuff that's going. Mercury in retrograde will just be the ugly sticky frosting on that particular cake, to my mind.
Less talking is a really good idea. Wonder if I can manage that?
PS LOL! I had written September will be a "touch" month originally, rather than "tough." Freudian slip? Or message from the universe? Since I was just writing about the Ouija boards....

So far 2009 has sucked -- with a capital UCK!!! I keep thinking/hoping "next month will be better," but next month isn't better; it just sucks worse. Is there an end in sight to all this? If so, I'd sure appreciate some words of encouragement.

15. just when I thought next week couldn't get uglier |
|
it did.
I started my new job yesterday. Somehow, all of the 20 new hires got the letter with the revised training schedule...except me.
I had revised my class schedule to a much tougher regimen based on 2 months of training from 6-10pm. They changed it to 4-10pm for 1 month.
Next Thursday, I have to leave my house by 6:30 am, after feeding/watering 12 animals, to be at lab from 8-12, then get home at 1:30, where I have 1 1/2 hours to each lunch, get the dogs out, put the horses to bed, shower, and leave by 3:15 to get to work until 10.
Friday I have to get caught up on the barn work that didn't get done Thursday (double-duty on horse stalls) drive 45 minutes to take a 1 1/2 hour exam, drive 45 minutes home, shower, rest, and leave the house by 3:15 to be at work.
Saturday I have to leave my house by 6:30 am to be at lab from 8-4:30, get home around 6 to let the dogs out and bring the horses in & feed them.
Sunday will be double-duty on stalls again, along with trying to put the house back together. I will be repeating the above scenario in October and November. The only hope is that by November I may be able to use some accrued vacation time to offset the craziness, since we're required to use it before the end of the year.

19. Yours is NOT from Mercury Rx |
|
it's from Saturn approaching your Mars in Virgo in the first house. While it's not Saturn's intent to make things worse, it's quite common that Saturn adds to the work load. Yours is scheduled form Early October, about 1 month from now. It's really about you concentrating your energy more, and using it more efficiently. Saturn isn't trying to turn you into a work mule.
There is no way to avoid this ole planet. Get tough, it will pass as we hit late October or so.
Best of luck to you, r
ps. Mercury Rx doesn't cause extra work loads, just screwy signals.

29. it's the screwy signals I'm blaming on merc Rx |
|
I didn't get the letter advising of the revised training schedule. The urinalysis lab dates and times have changed 3 times. And now, my car repair that I scheduled 2 weeks ago for tomorrow has been postponed by the mechanic for 2 weeks to late September. Which must happen this month, or I'll be driving uninspected & illegally. gulp.
On the + side, though, my Saturday labs turned out to be afternoon only. She's got me scheduled for all the "right" sessions. And she just sent us directions!

22. Well... I am soooooooo screwed !!! |
|
I found out that my bank has taken away my "over draft privilages" The on line payment I made to my cable co. has been returned unpaid. That means, once they get wind of it, that I will have no phone, no TV and no computer. I've called the bank and expect a call back from the accounts mngr. tomorrow, so I can find out why they did this. It's been my "cushion" since I had to dole out $700 for my water heater a few months ago. They would honor all OD checks up to the amnt. of $ 500 with OD fees included. I know it is an expesive way to get credit, but it's the only way I've been able to survive this long. My credit is totally shot anyway, so what the hell? It could be a blessing in disguise so that I don't end up short every month when my S.S. check is auto matically deposited, but damn, I don't know how to get caught up when there's only a certain amount coming in every month!!??? I'm requesting prayers, light and any advise you can all send this way, so I can get this resolved. I'm asking the Universe for the right words to say to this guy from the bank, and to the cable Co. I'm pretty much house bound, and will go absolutely BONKERS without communication with the outside world!! So if you guys don't hear from me in a while, you'll know why. Right now.....I have no answers. JA

32. I've been watching these for a long time |
|
and lately, I've taken one Cassie's advice, of calming down, taking things slower. It's been a lot better. BUT This one is really disruptive; I suspect it's because it's near early Cardinal degrees and square to transiting Pluto. It's gonna be that way for a bit.
Everyone, take it slow and double-check everything. I already have paper-work, Dr work, etc, that's all screwed up. Usually, I just wait till Mercury goes direct, the 29th, and it'll straighten out.

35. Bizarre shite from this Merc Retro Hell: Our dog climbed up on one of our bookcases. |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-13-09 06:31 AM by BlueIris
Our beloved Welsh corgi, Hobbs, a normally quiet and well behaved fellow, just suddenly climbed up on one of our bookshelves last night. One second, we were watching t.v., the next--dog. on. bookshelf. It was one of the lower-standing ones, but still much higher off the ground than any of the other furniture in that room (about four feet up; we're still not sure how he got up there).
I was compelled to say, "Woah. That is not normal." Because...well, it's not. What next--space aliens in the living room? I am so glad I'm moving out of here.
