1. 9/9/2009 = 2 in numerology.
In numerology...all the numbers are added together and then reduced to one number by adding whatever comes out if it is double digits.
For example, with 9/9/2009...it comes out 11 and that added together equals 2.
You cant leave out any numbers just because it is the latest fad to refer to a year by the last two digits only.
It is scary to see 9/9/9 for some, however the real numbers are of course..9/9/11.
Is this scary? Well it could be a second 9-11 and if that should be the case, you can bet your bottom dollar it is the New World Order...(military Industrial complex)..the same ones that did the first 9-11.
How do I know who did the first 9-11? Easy, they are the only ones that won something by 9-11 happening. Always follow the money.

5. The term "power number" is a recent idea...
Numerology is fairly simple and straight-forward system that was used by the ancients and is based on the numbers 1 through 9. 0 being the number of completion and 10 would be a new round and of course..is reduced to 1.
We are now being confused by some who just make up cool sounding things to make themselves feel more important or whatever their reasons are for doing so. This is not fair to those still learning about things.
It's the same thing that some have attempted to do with the Chakras. Although there are many many minor energy centers in the body, it remains that there are only seven major ones.
With the seventh/crown chakra being pure God/cosmic consciousness..we still have some trying to contend that there is an "eighth chakra"...which is just silly if you stop to think about it.
They even try to contend that this so called eighth energy center is not even in the body but located above the head in the energy field. Proving to anyone that knows what the energy field actually is that they don't know half of what they pretend.
What is "beyond" God and beyond God consciousness? :)
I believe those that try to put forth these ideas are thinking no one will ever be able to prove them wrong.

6. I'm glad to hear your perspective
on the "master/power" numbers. Making 11 a final landing rather than a "2" has always bugged me. It basically leaves "2" as an orphan since nothing else reduces to "2". Two itself is a very powerful number.

3. Hurray my internet is back on! So I will post a part of the article..
I especially like these parts:

To a Numerology expert, this date is extraordinary for its combination of the numbers 11, 9 and 2. The technical explanation for this (and please bear with me) is that 9/9/2009 translates to 9/9/11 (since the digits of 2009, when added together, equal 11). The next step is that the difference between 11 and 9 is 2, and if you were to continue adding digits, you would find two more 2s in this date, and one more 11.

snip

In the case of September 9, 2009, 11 shines bright and brings a strong sense of awareness and compassion -- as well as intuition -- to this date. There is an undercurrent of interconnectedness, of brotherhood. 11 is the diplomatic peacemaker, and the number of the heart, but is probably best known for drawing people together.

snip

You could think of 9 as the "Mother Teresa number."

snip

A few predictions: there will be a confrontation between good and evil, in a very definite way, and there will be nothing vague about it. This can occur on a personal or worldwide level. But since there are beginnings and endings represented in this date, this event will mark the end of one era and the beginning of a new chapter -- in other words, those negative 2s will act as a combined catalyst for change ... and healing.

4. "a combined catalyst for change and healing"
Let's hold tight to that thought. A lot of change and healing needed, as far as I can tell.

7. ty Why :) and I am hoping all is well in your world :)

I agree, leaving a double number has always bugged me too as it should always be reduced to the final number. If nine is the number of completion...then whats left after that? Completion means just that...the end, all incompassing, a done deal, etc.
However I also have to agree that it is also good too look at all the numbers and their meanins and the order they appear.

8. I pay attention to all the numbers
everywhere! Just to maintain my contrary nature, I prefer Strength 11 (patience & tolerance) and Justice 8 (cause & effect), even though I use a Waite deck part of the time.

9. Well.
I got a new bead on the '11' and '22' origins today. The information I got was incomplete. But I'm going to have to look into it further. It well may be related to those on the planet who believe themselves to be above "divine". If you know what I mean. At any rate, with this new information, I can't just ignore it.
