Prayers for my brother

Hi Everyone,

I'm requesting special healing prayers/light/energy for my brother James (I call him Jimmy) who is in ICU at the hospital -- has been there since last Tuesday. He had several clots in the arteries of both legs and his left arm. They were able to do bypass surgery on those arteries, but he's still on the respirator -- they can't take him off of it because his vital signs drop to dangerous levels. And they're having to keep him sedated because when he starts to come around, he gets agitated and that is bad for his heart, which isn't in the best of shape anyway.

Would you all please send him healing, calming energy?

He's had a rough time of it. It worries me because he has been on a respirator for 5 days now, and that can't be good. Plus it just breaks my heart to see him so helpless in that hospital bed all hooked up to wires and tubes.

19. Not much news yet

As of this morning, he is still on the respirator, and has developed pneumonia. I got him to follow my voice yesterday (I'd walk around the bed talking to him, and he would turn his head to follow me), but he wouldn't open his eyes. The nurse had said he would likely get worse before he started to get better, but I guess I wasn't prepared for how much worse he would get. On some level, I think he wants to stay on the respirator, because at least he's able to breathe with it.

Thank you all for your light and love and prayers. I don't have the words to express how much this means to me and the family.

He's going to need open-heart surgery. Due to his weakened state, it's more dangerous than it would be if he were stronger, but they wouldn't operate on him if it weren't needed to keep him alive. Not much of a choice, but there you go.

The surgery is scheduled for tomorrow.

30. Update 2

Well, the news isn't good. They took him to surgery, but because of the amount of fluid in his lungs, they weren't able to operate. The fluid is caused by the bad valve that needs to be replaced, but he's in such bad shape that they can't operate yet. They're trying a new medication to see if that will at least stabilize him to the point that they can operate, but they didn't sound very optimistic.

Thank you all so much for your prayers, energery and well wishes. I'll let you know what's going on, but right now the prognosis is pretty bleak. I feel like he's deciding if he wants to stay or not. We'll see I guess.

Maybe the grief is too heavy on my side and that's why, but I'm not getting anything from him. I think he's with his guides now and he's trying to decide if he wants to stick around or just go on -- I'm sure this is an exit point for him, and maybe he hasn't decided yet.

If he pulls through this, he's looking at a long and painful recovery, and there is no guarantee that it will be a full recovery. In fact, in all likelihood it will not. Maybe he's just ready to take the exit.

Dear ASAH Friends,

Thank you so much for the kind words, energy, prayers, and loving light sent to me and my family. It has helped us so much in getting through this trying time. Today at 3:21 p.m. EDT my dear brother crossed over. He is no longer in pain. He can walk and jump and breathe and sing now.

My brother was a brilliant man who may have at times lived too much inside his head, but he loved and felt everything so deeply. His insights and unusual way of seeing things always amazed me. I'll miss him more than I can even tell you, and I fear the tears will never stop.

Rest in peace, big brother. I love you.

I had been sending healing light and love to your brother Jimmy and you, in hopes that no matter what happened it would be received for the best possible outcome. I'm truly sorry that the outcome was not what we might have wanted to happen, but apparently Jimmy's condition was so severe that it was beyond our expectations to be able to help heal him.

I think that Jimmy probably knew this as well. I know your loss of your brother will be difficult to overcome, but know in your heart that he is free from his Mortal Coil. He will still be a part of your life as all our loved ones continue to live through us.

It is always difficult losing loved ones, but when you discover something that belonged to them it makes us remember them and what they meant to us. We will always miss those who have gone before us. At least that has been the case with me. The pain lessens over time, but the yearning to be in their company, to interact with them is something I have continued to struggle with over the years. But like I said when I find something that belong to them, whether it is a poem, a drawing, something they gave me, it brings a smile to my face and I remember the great friendship I had with them and what they meant to me. I hope this will be the case with you as well. But for now take care of yourself. Take the time to grieve and cry, and know that Jimmy is a part of the Divine Spirit.
