holy synchronicity!!!!!!

So I've been flat out, nonstop, 18 hour day busy for a couple weeks now. Every time I catch my breath, I get swamped by another wave of busy. Exhausted to the point of wanting to die just for the bloody rest. The other night, somewhere between tasks, I sadly thought about my neglected blog. And the lack of incentive driving what had seemed a few weeks ago to be the big thing I was meant to be doing.

Anyway, I have most of this coming week off from classes plus am taking Monday, 10/19 off from work, plus shift out of training and onto my regular work schedule which means I'll finally be getting to bed on time. Suddenly I have brief respite and a chance to get caught up on caring for me, myself and I, along with my critters and cleaning the house a bit.

So I headed up to the local health food store to stock up the medicine chest with up ginger and egyptian licorice tea, plus look for Sambucol.They were holding a special "membership day" so the place was an absolute New Age and latter day Hippie zoo.

While I'm looking for Sambucol, a woman comes over to ask if I've found what I wanted. I told her I'm looking for Sambucol and she joins in the search. I explained to her that while they have a number of elderberry products, I specifically want Sambucol. In that moment I spotted the last bottle. Yay!

And added that I'm a med lab tech student and interested in phytochemicals and that unlike other elderberry products, Sambucol has been through clinical testing.

Turns out she's the president of the health food coop. She asked me to write an article for their newsletter. I told her about my blog. She told me to write a short article and they'll link it to my blog!!!!!

YEAH!!!!!! A DEADLINE!!!!! Motivation, purpose and hopefully some breathing space are returned :) :) :) :bounce: I'll be, hopefully starting tonight but soon anyway, getting some updates onto the blog along with some of the fancier widgets that I left out on the first pass! :D :D :D

That is SOOOO great to hear! Good for you and those serendipitous moments!

I have been feeling very discouraged by the job market lately and wanting to do more freelancing but also feeling like I am full of work but not "doing" it.. I like your story because it reminds me that I can make the decision to move forward and the Universe will NO DOUBT bring along the next step, and that it can be as simple as being in the Health Food store (we have a little local grocer's here in Tahoe too, same couple has run it for 20 years and they have a bakery too...mmm!)

Did you hit up that health food store we told you about? It was really nice meeting you and the information
you shared with us was very helpful. Last week it looked like we would be headed toward Lincolnville for sure-
however... there is still a glimmer of hope that we can remain here. I'm just being, living in the moment until
we know for sure.

My elderberry elixir is now ready and we started taking it daily a few days ago.

Sorry not to reply to your thread. I didn't even see it until someone pointed it out to me in PM, and I've been flat out and exhausted. Still trying to get caught up and rested.

I was planning to continue up to the other health food store, but stopped at A Good Tern first because I had the specific goal of getting a supply of Sambucol wherever I found it. Once I the whole episode above happened, I got so excited I headed straight for home and forgot half my shopping trip!
