SwitchWords
I have always agreed with those who say the subconscious is like a computer that we program for ourselves, with our thoughts, emotions and energies, to create the manifestations in our lives. If we are always putting in fear, that is what we ultimately attract or draw to ourselves. If we put out to the universe that we don’t have money, happiness, peace or success, likely that will be reflected in our lives. The idea that we are what we think has been around since the beginning of time. And if your life is completely how you want it, well then I’d say, you are living in your version of “heaven”. But for those of us still learning and trying to teach ourselves how to manifest differently, the question becomes what method or “program” to use.

There are many, and I would bet, that when combined with the full weight of belief, they all work. What works best for each of us are those methods that we connect with on an emotional level. Belief is important.

Plus, there are other factors to consider. What is the path we have chosen for ourselves, as reflected by our charts? Some things may just have to be gone through. But how you do it can make a difference. Using “8” did provide some quick cash and small periods of relief, but greater relief came when Saturn moved out of the 8th house. Could I have avoided it completely? I don’t know, that is what I’m trying to find out. Is the lesson in the trial itself or, overcoming it completely?

Quantum physics is playing a larger and larger role, as is the idea of innerspace. But to get there from here we seem to need triggers. Maybe in the future, as the collective becomes more and more attuned, it won’t be so, but we are just on the edge of this new dynamic and somewhat in the dark, yet, as to the path.

So I am trying many things, one of which I’d like to share today: SwitchWords, words used to “trigger” change. There is a web-site which offers, free, the beginning to this technique. If you want to go further, and acquire all of it a fee is required. But I have found that what was given free is sufficient to my needs. Also, others have shared additional words with me. This includes the person whose site it is. A wonderfully kind person who has answered my email questions. So kind in fact that as soon as I can I am thinking of ordering the entire book for his helping me so generously.

I invite you to take a look, see what you think and if this might have any benefit for you.

Additional SwitchWords:

REACH. — to find anything you're looking for, such as:
misplaced items in the physical world (keys, papers, tools, etc.);*forgotten ideas or information in your mind or memory (names, numbers, etc);
*solutions to problems.

*whenever you want to sell something, say: GIVE.
*whenever you want to make money: COUNT.
*or whenever you want to make something beautiful: CURVE.
*for good health, and/or for peace: BE.

“BLUFF” moves your energy in exactly the opposite direction as fear

MOVE - to display pep and sudden energy and/or to get rid of inertia

TOMORROW - to destroy remorse

THANKS - to cease regretting

UP - to: dispel an attack of the blues, lose inferiority complex

PRAISE - to stop faultfinding

BLUFF - to: dispel nervousness, conscious fear
AROUND - to improve perspective

SLOW - to: withstand impatience, be wise
REVERSE - to bury your grudges

GUARD - to preserve personal safety
BE - to: achieve peace of conscience, banish lonesomeness, maintain good health

ELATE - to turn a setback into an uplift

CANCEL - to: dispel a worry, obliterate a negative thought, prevent a person or action from annoying one, avoid poverty or debt

1. Duality.
Thanks, it's something to think about, relates to duality, I guess. I'm glad you've found the word switches or SwitchWords useful.

If a child with a good heart and positive intent is born in the world, why does the world turn that heart away from its own creation? Duality, I guess.

Freedom=Slavery
Or is it:
Slavery=Freedom?

2. Thoughts...."That's the Way of the World"
Earth Wind and Fire's Song that I love and find inspirational.

Hearts of fire creates love desire
Take you high and higher to the world you belong
Hearts of fire creates love desire
High and higher to your place on the throne
We've come together on this special day
To sing our message loud and clear
Looking back we've touched on sorrowful days
Future pass, they disappear
You will find peace of mind
If you look way down in your heart and soul
Don't hesitate 'cause the world seems cold
Stay young at heart 'cause you're never (never, never, ..) old at heart
That's the way of the world
Plant your flower and you grow a pearl
A child is born with a heart of gold
The way of the world makes his heart grow cold

From my own experience and that of my 2 children I would say that a child is born with contact with his center of "truth" still very much present, but that life experience, which in a way he contracted to experience in this manner, brings out all of the lessons that must be learned or experienced to have him become more "whole" or complete.

Yes, to experience this duality in all of its marvelous and horrendous glory.

So the world does turn that heart away from its own creation, but this is what we "do" here on earth.....as some of us also seem to try to get back.
I wonder what the world would look like if humans would all openly embrace their ungodliness and misfortunes and then..... all STILL decide to work for the common GOOD, for positivity for all.....find ways to get close to an ideal of people being all winners, and not have winners and losers?

3. This does look interesting to me, Me.

The older I get the less words I seem to need or want to use....and something about positive affirmations a la Louise Hay just turn me off somehow! Although I do believe that they can have great effect.

I will most certainly look into this site and book.

Thanks,

DemEx

edit:

Some things may just have to be gone through. But how you do it can make a difference.
I sometimes get overwhelmed with a deep sadness with desperate tears that I have not used this gift of my life in this form as well as I could have....and this is not at all related to worldly achievments, but to having lived more moments of these years more consciously, more aware, attentive and lovingly.
Othertimes I feel so weary of my struggle (to understand fully?) I long for more long-lasting peace/rest than a good night's sleep can provide me.
And then othertimes I feel great joy and peace with my path and what experiences this life has given me...... Some I have completely enjoyed and lived to the hilt!

It will always be a mixed bag, IMO, and all of the things we try for more insight and understanding are all good tools - there is no "One Way for all" IMO.

4. I Know What You Mean About Affirmations
I do feel they are beneficial, but it takes a concentrated effort and at times I feel I am trying to overlay feelings with words. I think the belief has to be there for anything to work. If you go to my "Enjoy" thread in this forum, I have linked a lovely little "film" that says, we, each of us, are the light of the world. Don't have to do anything, just be, for the package is complete.

5. It is lovely, Me.....thanks for sharing.

The only thing about this kind of approach, which in a strong way appeals to me while repulsing me (Dang duality thing again!) is that the duality is ignored, glossed over somehow...... and being a strong empath, it is difficult for me to ignore the horror and focus on the light that should be there all along. It feels like betrayal to me to think positive and think light while the suffering continues all around.

For some reason, this also seems somewhat fake to me, kinda like how Louise Hay's manner of speaking affirmations comes across to me.

Now, you could say that in real life I cannot possibly focus on the suffering all around me or I would truly go insane, so my choice to not see it all of the time is a compromise of sorts.....but to do as in the film I feel puts me personally in a very uncomfortable position of escaping reality and chosing to ignore....this I cannot do.

But this is how I am - so maybe THIS is OK and 'perfect' too....:D

I have tried to understand why this message bugs me, and have not been able to figure it out YET.

Maybe I should try exercising this light and letting go to see what effect it really would have, and possibly discover that my aversion is just my inner resistance to seeing it, my resistance to letting go of my learned attachment to duality itself.

Hmmmmmmmmm....

Anyway, I do think it is lovely and that it has a big piece of the "truth".

Just re-read your orignal post here:

There are many, and I would bet, that when combined with the full weight of belief, they all work. What works best for each of us are those methods that we connect with on an emotional level. Belief is important.

You already said what I am trying to say in my ramblings....LOL.
Except that this takes me further along to wondering if I just have not found the right "method" yet, or if I still need more emotional work to get myself to the right place....

6. It Is About Truth
and what we are being asked to see is the truth of ourselves and everyone else. And if enough people embrace the truth, the truth becomes our "reality" and the reality for everyone. It's like the 100th monkey story, a "hundred" of us embracing the potential of how things should be, and allowing it into our lives affects everyone around us for the better.

The horror and misery, so prevalent on this planet at this moment, is an illusion and has no lasting reality. That is what we are being asked to see and understand, by so very many teachers. And first we have to create this condition for our own lives and allow the ripples of that to spread outward. This is very hard to do when you look around and see the terrible state out country is in, the people of Niger and many others, but very necessary. How the effects manifest is difficult to say, it could be something like 10,000,000 million people waking up one day and deciding that no one on this planet should go to bed hungry and doing something about it.

This way of thinking, purposely creating with our thoughts, "innerspace" is the new frontier. And I would bet that in the next decade and a half this come to the forefront.

This is also why I am definitely sure the Repugs rule of tyranny, hate, lies and deceit, will not last in any meaningful way, it cannot stand the light of day and has nothing to do with truth.

7. This Op In GD Is Saying The Same Thing Essentially
Let me explain:

Real Goodness, I'm talking REAL Good, exists in everyone... past all this surface shit about winning and losing. You focus on the GOOD instead of winning, and you will find ourselves winning everywhere. "Their moral values" thing is as shallow as believing there is an us and a them. And so is "their money"

When Goodness comes, people are drawn to it. Everyone. And evil is forgotten and disappears.

Look at Nelson Mandela. You think he was focused on winning? No. He was focused on what is profoundly Good and glowing. And the evil dissolved in his path.

Dean, there is no quick fix. Trying to win will never win. Money and cheating as we have seen usually will, but at what cost and to what effect. If it isn't on a deeper level, we will back here again in no time. We aren't talking about winning here. We are talking about GOODNESS. The winning will just come.

Don't look for the key issues, or the "type" of candidate people want. That's politics, and thats crap.

Inspire us.

Inspire us like Barak Obama did. Bring everyone together. Heal us. And Love this country... EVERYONE in it.

after all,

we don't win unless we ALL win.

8. Thanks, I really like your explananation,
and think I can actually DO somethihng with it.

I like down-to-earth explanations of this most important spiritual lesson and truth.

:D

DemEx

I think I will visualize all of the evil, selfishness and negative illusions melting off of everybody here on earth and leaving that core of GOOD and love shining like gold to cover the earth.
I think I can even imagine Bush, Cheney and Rove going through this process.....

Replace my repulsion and hatred for them with this image - yeah.............I can see this having an effect.

When I think of the Bushinistas now I picture them already gone from government. Don't say how or why, just gone.
