Anyone interested in permanently taking over the coordination of the group's monthly prayer thread?

I've been coordinating (or finding other people to coordinate) the monthly prayer thread since March of 2006. I now feel that it is time for either someone else to take over this function or for December's prayer thread to be the last one until someone else feels that it is their calling.

If you're interested, please speak up.

I can probably hold down the fort for a couple of months if nobody volunteers for the permanent position.

I think the problem is that you have done the job too well, and people may be a bit intimidated following in your footsteps.

But, burnout I can understand.

Again, just let me know if the two month extension is needed. Someone is more likely to want to follow me rather than you, LOL.

I agree, and I can certainly understand the burnout effect.

I'm simply intimidated by the thought of committing to anything right now, truth be told. Maybe I could help in a few months.

Please don't stress over it, IHAD. It's a wonderful gift, but not if it causes you or anyone else stress.

We'll all come together to handle the prayer thread...and, as KOB pointed out, it will indeed be a joy and a blessing to do so. I can hug, hug, hug everyone to my heart's content!!!

4. Why don't we have a sign up "sheet" for

the next 12 months - a different person a month. I'm definitely interested for selfish reasons - it would give me a chance to practice more White Light meditation that definitely involves sending good energy because it feels so good to begin with.

If agreed, I'll volunteer for the month of January. But really, IHAD, I believe it is because you are good and put your all into it. You deserve a break :)

but I was wondering why we did not take turns like we did before.
But then again, I was on again off again on ASAH, so I probably missed it.

I think many of us do not know what each month will bring, so an advance scheduling may be problematic for some of us. I can certainly volunteer for one or the other.

I didn't mind being appealed to, at least! :) Maybe we could take a vote, and if enough of us are willing to sign up for individual months in '10 (gee that looks weird), we could get a whole year taken care of at once...?

If there's a "sign up sheet" going around, I'll take a month..how about May? (I can remember that as it's my birthday month, lol)
