2012..."But will people actually be any different?"
Edited on Sat Dec-19-09 03:15 PM by Fire Walk With Me
I wanted to continue pondering upon this recent ASAH question.

No, but the overall energy/environment will be different. Those who seek higher standards and who do positive/charitable work will find it to be so much easier, and that the returns will be fast and beautiful. "Effortless" is a word which comes to mind.

Those who seek lower standards will also find effortless and abundant returns. Those who block others and who must control things, will be blocked and find themselves controlled...and on the outs in general.

One of my teachers stated years ago that in this battle between those who want to run the world versus those who merely wish to live in it, that people will begin leaving those who control and that those who control, would become louder and louder until few will follow. Perhaps not "few" few, but the trend is already visible.

What will happen? Whatever we work for. Period. It's up to us. We are the ones we have been waiting for.

I wonder at the popularity of dramatic television (Jerry Springer) and at America's love of denying sexuality, and its consequences. It will be interesting to see how things change. I mean, I noted that some of the Europeans I've met at far more free sexually, even those in committed relationships. A dalliance is a dalliance. It does not mean anything to or against the relationship. Do Americans have such developed egos, to allow for this sort of thing? Or, will there be a momentary, minor return to puritanism (before it is again discarded).

Change is in the air because the air is changing. It will simply be easier to practice higher standards because we'll be living in that very environment. I know that some here do not believe in this, but it is indeed occurring.

Any thoughts on the subject, of how humanity (specifically America) shall react to the presence of higher vibration?

1. I watched something today...

that was VERY powerful, funny, insightful and thought-provoking, and I highly recommend it.

I heard my SO laughing at something he was watching on TV, then about an hour later came in with tears in his eyes.

He was watching a show (fairly new, I take it?) on the Travel Channel by the name of "Meet the Natives."

My initial reaction was Ughhhh....I hope they're not making fun of these people or belittling native cultures in any way (I'm not a big fan of all the reality TV shows and don't watch them but have a less-than-positive opinion of the whole genre, hence my initial cringing...lol).

But when he came in with tears in his eyes, asking me to watch this marathon with him, I did.

And I'm glad I did.

It speaks to your post about "how humanity (specifically America) shall react to the presence of higher vibration?"

There were so many things revealed in the interactions of this tribe from a small island in the South Pacific, who came to America to spread a message of love and peace, with Americans.

Most of the things are ideas and insights that are, for the most part, obvious to us, as we consciously try to make it our life focus to be respectful and loving, not always successfully, and that's okay, too. ;)

Still, this series was very gratifying to watch, and if these five gentleman with very simple, pure, loving wisdom have their way, they are indeed radiating a higher vibration throughout our country via this show.

I haven't researched it at all to know the history behind how this show came to be, but even on the surface -- without knowing anything beyond what I just watched -- there is great potential.

Perhaps this type of insightful programming will start to be more popular than some of the shallow, vapid shows that have taken over for the last decade.

I do feel we've reached a place where more and more people realize that the way we are living isn't the healthiest path, in any sense of the word. So more of us are open to a higher vibration, IMHO. On the other hand, I also feel fear is an easier path to fall onto than to make a conscious choice of love. That's why simple reminders that it IS a choice can go a long way, and that's how we can be of service, just as these five tribesman are doing.

2. I LOVE "Meet the Natives"!!!!

IMHO some of the best programming ever! It truly exposes that "backward" tribes, are actually more advanced than we are in the "West" in what we term, "civilized society". The kindness, basic wisdom, & the observation of our ways in America by these "natives from a small Pacific island", indeed highlights how ridiculous our way of life is in America. They are so sweet & pure in their view of how wasteful & crazy some of what we do really is.

Without giving too much away about the show, I think the irony of their mission is poignant. I can't wait to see the episode when the meet Obama. Hope they "get through to him"!!!

I hope it will open the eyes of America. This show could be a catalyst to a massive "awakening" in the world. I HOPE SO! :hi:

6. Do you think they DO meet him?

I hope so. :)

If American Idol and such shows can "reach" millions and millions of people, why can't a little show like this lead to this awakening? I hope it can!!!

8. Well, it looks like they were here in Dec 2008
Although they spoke of Obama, the best they got was Colin Powell. :(

That was a major disappointment for me. If only they'd waited a year.

7. Travel Channel

I'm not even sure of the regular air date. I think something is playing today. They played a marathon of sorts yesterday, and that's how I was introduced to it. Perhaps you can check your local listings. :)

It's worth it!

I love things like this and agree with other posters, that slowly, slowly, electronic media are being used carry positive information. It is so surprising and wonderful.

3. Good one
I think it is only the beginning of the collective here on earth being awakened into "being" a collective instead of of the "me" society.

The value of "being" is going to change. I think America has a chance of being an example of finally "being" the melting pot it is, and if the collective America fails to do so it will tumble down. But this is the freedom of choice we all independently make to form the collective will.

I know what I think it "should" or maybe more: I "wish", but it is just one of All...

:)

9. :)
An astrologer posted here recently that 2010 should harbour a great deal of the beginnings of such change, as people awaken to the new energy and its better way of living (and of the planets' un-ignorable energies; see the latest post in ASAH regarding Mars again becoming active).

Of course, it's easy to wave the medicine stick and say "Ooga Booga, things are going to change in 2010", but the point is, knowing how and why. Freedom will be knocking upon the door of the repressive regimes. An overall feeling of "this isn't right/good enough; we should change this" will sweep the world. Perhaps regimes will not immediately fall, and change shall not be immediately accomplished, but the point is in 2010 to watch it -begin-.

5. I'm seeing/feeling this as well
"One of my teachers stated years ago that in this battle between those who want to run the world versus those who merely wish to live in it, that people will begin leaving those who control and that those who control, would become louder and louder until few will follow. Perhaps not "few" few, but the trend is already visible."

Definitely resonates here.
