Okay, I know "house" dreams are about some aspect of my psyche, I just can't figure out exactly what this one is telling me!
I was traveling with a friend of mine through my hometown. Our respective spouses weren't with us, but we were in touch with them - almost had the sense we were on a camping trip or something (though that's not something I'd be likely to do).
We stopped at the house where I grew up and lived for about 22 years. The current owner was a nice young man, and it became obvious he was a devout Christian, which was slightly off-putting to me. But I also had the sense that we had met before. We asked if we could spend the night at the old house and he agreed.
The house was under renovation and so we slept on the floor in sleeping bags - again, like "camping out".
To top it off, I discovered that the new owner and I shared a mutual love of ANNETTE FUNICELLO.
So, um....huh?

1. A desire to get in touch with an old part of yourself is coming through. |

I don't know if the Annette Funicello detail is anything, though. ;-)

2. I agree with the main theme of an old part of self, but the details could be imporant too. |

The fact it's like a camping trip suggests it's something temporary, an opportunity that's being presented at the moment and won't be here too long perhaps. Maybe you're interacting some way w/ a younger person or more likely a situation where you might need to display some of those old traits you had growing up when you were more innocent and youthful. Somebody else's take on religion shouldn't be a bar to that. The Annette Funicello I would take if it were my dream as a play on words probably. Do you need to have more "fun"? A kind of musical fun in fact ("cello")? Maybe you need to just not be so heavy and rational and just enjoy this time. The dream is sort of like an I-Ching ideograph saying It's OK to open up a bit and have fun right now. Your dreams will check up on you later on and maybe have a slightly different message.
That would be my take for myself, but for you it might be totally different. Still it sounds like a positive and helpful dream no matter what it's saying to you.
