Hermetic sent me a link to a wonderful CBC interview with an author an authority on Brigid--Mary Condren. I heartily recommend it (and I even opened up another window, went to Amazon, and bought the woman's book when I was only halfway through the interview!)

1. My computer is giving me fits!!!

I tried to download this pod cast, and it said it couldn't open it because it was "damaged, or corrupt"!!!????? What the hell is it with that? I can't get my computer to open up the new ASAH group site either. It let me register...but then when I try to bookmark the site, or enter it to add information it won't let me. I have to close the whole application and start again to get back on line. I know that my search engine was google up until March 13th. I tried to switch to firefox before the web browser closed, but I guess it didn't work! I hate being so computer illiterate, and the only help I have is a "Windows 98 for Dummies" book. It's no help at all, because I have Windows 2000 Professional!!! Any suggestions???

2. I smell a virus

If I can get that podcast to run on a Mac, in my Camino browser--where even Facebook is screwed up most of the time--then it's gotta be your 'puter, and judging from the other stuff you mentioned, it does sound quite like a virus! :( Do you have a security/virus sniffer-outer? I wish I could help more, but I only do Macs...perhaps someone else here can advise...?

3. Hi Glow !

I really hope you are wrong....but I'm going to try visiting DU's computer group to see if they can give me some answers. I think it's a "browser" problem (says she hopefully) My puter is as confused as I am, because I haven't picked a new browser? Of course being so computer illiterate isn't going to help me explain it!!:hurts: :dunce: LOL!!
