2. Peace of mind....

Things certainly could be much, much worse, but I do pray for peace of mind this morning.

My work is dependent upon my computer working (this is my laptop). I lost power yesterday morning and something messed up, horribly with my computer. Was on the phone with Dell all day, ended up breaking down out of sheer frustration with lack of clear communication, their advice making things worse....and just life.

I pray I can get help today to get it fixed. It definitely jeopardizes the "food-on-the-table" thing, especially since I live paycheck to paycheck as it is.

Then, I find out this morning the publisher of the one book I'm promoting has made a decision which GREATLY undermines every single thing I've been working on. I'm stunned and livid at the same time. When it rains, it pours. LOL

3. I just tried cold laser therapy for smoking cessation.

Help me to help it work.

I would so love to be a non-smoker. I have had four quitting attempts that worked for about six months each.

I pary for this for you and myself as well... trying to quit for the thousandth time, and I only smoke at night or on road trips! but it is still out of hand and I need to stop. I'm trying behavioral therapy on myself - instead of the evening cigarette, i am using a 'crest whitestrip' instead! can't smoke or drink with those in my mouth! ;)

YOU can make it happen. I'm grateful to the Universe that I've been able to remain smoke free since Jan. 31st. It's getting easier each week, but every now and then I still want one. I'm taking Wellbutrin, but I think that my will power is what is doing it for me....finally! I really, really need to be smoke free to stay alive. I'm not saying that if I had one I wouldn't smoke it though. It's harder than child bearing I think!! Hope you are successful this time!!:pals:

8. LUCK! Big meeting with the Online News team & publisher!

This morning I am going over the mountain to meet with the guys that atre building the Online News Org that will be my platform for the Ssutainability News, and possibly even get offered the job to be the editor for the south shore portion of the website.

Not only do I want this to work, but please pray that there will be a *contract and compensation* that will give me the chance to make a success of myself and the Newspaper - This is a new collaborative approach to news and I really want to be onboard. I am mostly there, just have to work out the nuts & bolts of what it really looks like...

So I am opening myself to the abundance of the Universe and I am ready for the opportunities for success in my career!

The meeting was easy and full of progressive thinking and new technology - and I get to partake in the beginning ripples!

Should have some kind of site moderator/franchisee contract to go on within the next couple weeks, and the site will be launched by April too! Oh wow! I not only get to be the Managing Editor, but of course I'll have to sell some ad revenue before I can see some profit...and yet, it is a really iron clad system and the tech and busniess bigstuff is handled and all I have to do is manage content...!

Meanwhile my dad is looking to dump some money before taxes and I may be able to finagle a 'business loan/startup investment'

so please - hold for THAT piece to come forth easily, I need to make some minor investments in my system before I can be fully web friendly for news and video posting.

16. A quick recovery from the nasty cold I've contracted would be nice.

I worked 14 days without a day off, doing an extra short-term job that would make enough money to pay my federal taxes next month. 14 days, 12-14 hour days, and I was so exhausted that my usually good resistance was down...one back spasm and a cold that I worked through. I'm on vacation and have time to rest, and I'm sure my usually good immune system will kick in; I'd just like to be able to sleep in my bed. Currently, I'm sleeping in the recliner because I can't breathe laying down.

Without a novel-sized post, here's the thing. I have been doing this for five years now. I had a reading from the wonderful mysticalchick; the year before, she got "wait", this year, it was "it's going to happen". I am just mostly scared. What if it never happens? (I know your message said "let go and fly", and what a beautiful message it is!)

I work on this every day. I want it more than anything. Today's news was pretty upsetting; all indications were that I would do well.

Thank you to everyone who sent hugs and wisdom. I'm just like everyone else: I fell down, and now I have to get up and walk, and keep putting one foot in front of the other till I get what I want.

I just wanted to chime in for all of my ASAH friends, that they know that love and light are indeed all around us now, that the angels hear us clearly, and are there to assist us at amazing depths...the veil is indeed falling and the Holy Kingdom can assist us so very deeply in regard to what the current energy demands: Letting Go. If you want to fly, you must first let go. If you are even willing to examine old hurt (and face it, now is the time!), it will come up and out like never, ever before. If you can surrender it to the angels, they can remove it from you. Fear, hurt, resentment, anger, pain, lack of love, lack of self-esteem, elephant-sized stubborness, all defects and shortcomings and poisons may all be removed. Yes, it is the truth. Trust the Angelic kingdom and ask their specific assistance, in threes if you find it aids your resolve/faith. They are waiting with love and patience for you to ask for their loving care, to do for you that which you cannot do for yourself.

My sister has been in the hospital for almost two months with a life threatening condition, I have to move at the end of the month and a long term relationship just ended. I can also feel my own health issues becoming worse with the stress. I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed right now.

65. So many people I know have some kind of crisis in their life

whether it be personal or with family/loved ones; and not all of it is tied to the economy. The recession didn't hit as hard up here as it did in the US.

Major health crisis, turning points, some financial/job worries...I've never known a time in my life where it's been so prevalent. And not just my peer group, either. It crosses many generations.

I hope we can all support each other in this (not just on the board, but IRL). :grouphug:

Anyway, we have now wrapped up the FOURTH month in which a freelance client has not sent her monthly payment. The money is really a pittance, but it's starting to add up.

I would really prefer she gets jostled by the Universe to pay up before I have to haul her butt into small claims court, so can folks send some motivational light to her (her name is Barbara) so she sends a check (and an e-mail letting me know it's coming) before I file the claim? Thanks! :hi:

I'm not buying it, as there has never been a set schedule for her payments as there would be with an automatic setup, but whatever.
