L-Glutamic Acid.
My mystery school teacher recommended this as a brain booster. Definitely aids concentration, although those of us with broken brains, in recovery and surrender might not want to give our brains anything that will assist it in focusing...it works, if you're interested. I have to take some each day to help overcome the effect the meds have upon me. Prior to this, I had a nearly photographic memory. All gone :/

1. Wow, as a computer programmer with focus issues...
this is something that I need to check out.

Thanks, FWWM. :)

2. thanks for the tip!
I have been taking an acetyl-l-carnitine/alpha lipoic acid lately, and that has definitely helped my brain function.

I will glutamine too! :-)

3. I should probably check it out
I have trouble focusing at times, unless I am doing something I am interested in.

4. Gingko Biloba
Gingko Biloba has helped a lot in this regard already. (I meant to add that to my previous post and waited too long.) The fact that I have a ways to go, as they say, doesn't say much for my focus, LOL! Unless I'm knitting, which I can do for hours at a time without pause, go figure.

5. I have the same problem, gtro.
One thing that has helped me is to take kelp tablets. I personally saw better results with it rather than Gingko Biloba. (Maybe just because I needed the iodine.)
