I just saw my granddaughter shake Pres. Obama's hand!!

Honest to God truth!! She was sitting in the second row behind the Pres.
You can see her briefly while he's glad handing before his speech to folks to his right .....but after the speech as he's going towards the left he shakes her and her fiances' hand. She smiled the biggest smile I've ever seen her smile!! She's in cami's, and is afro american. Her boyfriend to her left is hispanic, and lighter skinned!! If you missed it, try to catch it later in a repeat perhaps, or on UTube!! I don't know what made me go watch it...but I just knew I would see her today. WOW...I'm stoked now!!!!LOL:woohoo:

That you would see your Granddaughter shake the President's hand on TV. I just saw the snippet of his visit on TV but, unfortunately, didn't pay that close of attention to the service people he was greeting. I am so glad you got to see her, and see her participate in something I am sure she will be telling HER Grandchildren about someday!!!!!

I'll try to watch it, but how great to see her on TV and in such a great setting. I have only shaken his hand in my dreams...literally. It was a really nice dream! :) May she and her fiance' come home safely.
