Poll question: How do you rate Mercury Retrograde periods? |
|
As we see, we all have quite different experiences during a Mercury Retrograde (Rx) period. I thought that while it's fresh in our minds (what's left of them), I'd ask this question. Be nice :hi:

1. I voted irritating, mainly because sometimes I get blindsided |
|
But then again, lots of times nothing much happens during Merc ret, so I can't always dread them. :hi:

perhaps, just frustrating because I would like to see progress all around. But then again, progress has been quite elusive for a while now for me. So, I don't blame Mercury...

many stupid little accidents, burns, dropsies - could be partly caused my Mars in Leo transiting my sun, venus, etc. Ugh.
Thank GAWD this prick is direct now, but not without torturing me for a couple hours last night. Dropped off my wireless connection 3X!! ARGH.

5. I went with choice #2, but I confess, I usually don't do too badly with these. |
|
It's Uranus retrogrades I dread, specifically the shadow periods before it retros. Those times have ushered in some pretty severe damage to my home life. Especially my electronics.

6. This past one has been very difficult |
|
Yesterday, (when it went direct) 3 admissions were dumped and I had to redo them. My last admission -- the computer decided not to display a particular screen (the patient history screen) at all. I had to complete it on another computer. BTW, all these admissions that were dumped were done on different computers!
Every buttonhole accessory I purchased for my old Kenmore sewing machine was incompatible.
My husband was laid off, then had a good lead on a new job. They asked him for other names for other positions and one of them was hired for his job and nothing for him! He faces months without work as he is way down on the list.
My mother went in the hospital with a respiratory infection.
Oh, Nashville went under water (my family lives there) and no one in the major media outlets noticed. My sister's town is paralyzed as the major employers became totally submerged (she lives in Ashland City). My husband is down there now looking for some work at the local union hall.
Saturn has been really pissing me (and my dh who is also a Leo) off the past few years in the financial/career sector of my life. Mercury just turns it up a notch.

7. I wish I'd kept track of which ones were bad and how they were bad |
|
Edited on Tue May-18-10 11:48 PM by catzies
For instance, one cycle I had electrical problems, in another one financial, in another one interpersonal relationships suffered, in another phones faxes and copiers all broke.
I wish I'd started writing them all down years ago, to see what patterns emerged for me. And some have been good, where I cleaned up loose ends, found lost items, completed unfinished projects, and I wished I'd plotted them too. :) And this one was one of those for me as I'd found a "lost-in-the-house" cherished item which for me is classic MercRx!
