Here is some bits..

Update: August 16, 2005: Here’s another reality to ponder concerning the approaching Mars stations in October and December 2005 affecting the NYSE. On September 23, 2005, the NYSE will experience a Jupiter Return. Such a return can only occur every 12 years and this one happens within a week of the Mars retrograde station. While Jupiter often relates to opportunities knocking, success and prosperity, it appears more often connected to LARGE-SCALE REALITIES and anything BIG – as Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. This could mean a BIG surge in prices and upward movement within the DJIA or in an opposite direction.

Amazingly, the NYSE Jupiter return happens three days after a potent, awkward and rather nerve-wracking Saturn-Uranus 150-degree aspect in the sky from Leo to Pisces, two days after the same type of challenging alignment between Mars in Taurus and Jupiter itself in Libra, and just as Jupiter moves 135 degrees to Uranus. This latter pattern is within 1 minute of exactitude in the Jupiter Return chart (see this horoscope down below).

To further increase the financial anxiety at this moment, note that Venus in Scorpio is within two degrees of squaring its higher octave planet – Neptune. That 90-degree link will occur on September 24. Mercury (so powerfully associated with business, trade and communications) moves 150 degrees to Uranus and 135 degrees to Mars on September 24. As if to add to the poignancy of the entire situation, this Jupiter Return and the surrounding planetary upheavals occur on the anniversary for the discovery of Neptune (September 23, 1846) and the sacred zodiacal portal of the Fall Equinox (Sun reaching 0 Libra). Venus – as ruling planet of Taurus – has always had a strong rapport with personal assets, savings and material resources. Neptune – the higher octave to Venus – has much to do with global economic waves that influence national stock markets, currency fluctuations and the entire mood of major corporate and international investors.

Update August 22: The challenges just keep on manifesting! Look below at the Midpoint Sort that makes up the lower portion of the Mars retrograde station chart for October 1, 2005. In the first column of that sort, the entry just above the Mars position reveals that the transiting Saturn/Uranus midpoint is 23 degrees and 18 minutes of Taurus. Therefore, the station of the red planet strikes within 4 minutes of arc of the combined Saturn and Uranus archetypal energies and principles!

We have already seen how explosive the area around 23 Taurus is and now we add more provocative "fuel to the fire." Saturn (conventional and traditional vibrations) links with Uranus (revolutionary and shocking vibrations) and Mars triggers their disturbing and unruly rapport.

2. No, and the article you linked isn't free, BUT
I found this:

http://www.friendsofastrology.org/MolyArticles/mars-in-taurus.html

"As soon as it makes its entry into Taurus on July 28, Mars will announce its presence by forming a powerful square with transit Saturn in Leo. This square will be exact on July 31. People born between July 22 and 25 will not only be enduring the burdens of Saturn, but Mars will be “pushing” them to do more! Leos especially will find that more effort will be required in their work, and career issues will need to be addressed. With this energy, the more you try to do, the more resistance you will receive. The feeling will be as if you are “between a rock and a hard place.” You will be ****** if you do, and ****** if you don’t! The best way to deal with this energy is to follow your previous plans as much as possible, but expect frustrations and delays along the way.

As it continues its transit of Taurus Mars will form an additional two squares with Saturn – on November 18 (retrograde), and again on December 27 (direct). In November those Leos born between August 2 and August 6 will feel the pressure, and with Mars retrograde everything that happens will seem to create even more problems. You can expect a month filled with obstacles of all kinds, until these can be (somewhat) resolved with the final square aspect in December.

The Scorpio “leg” of this Grand Cross will first be felt in September when Venus transits this sign. But things will really start to accelerate once transit Jupiter enters Scorpio on October 25. While Jupiter is usually a protective planet, it can also be one of excess. And with Mars in opposition, things could definitely get “out of hand”! You Scorpios may find yourselves under attack from all sides and feel as if everyone is out to get you. Your natural reaction would be to withdraw and become more secretive, but with this planetary pattern the more you retreat, the more you will be pursued! The key to working with this energy is to maintain a healthy “balance” of openness with others. With Jupiter honesty will be the best policy, even if you would prefer not to disclose personal information.

As with Saturn, Mars forms a total of three oppositions with Jupiter. The first in this series occurs and the end of June with transit Mars in Aries and transit Jupiter still in Libra. Aries natives born between March 28 and April 1, and Libra natives born between September 29 and October 5 will be directly affected. There is the “flavor” of a T-Square active here, as transit Saturn is still in Cancer. All three of these signs are Cardinal, and the stress will quickly pass."

There is much more at this link.

From what I've seen from other articles, this bear watching very closely, as some articles suggest the possibility of more wars, as well as Iraq heating up rather dramatically!!! Is that what you're talking about?

Are you interested in other links about this?

6. Okey dokey, more links it is!
This first one is a very basic Saturn RETURN in Leo and what to expect, depending on where Saturn is in your natal chart.

http://www.bemyastrologer.com/saturn_return_in_leo.html

This next link is also for Saturn in Leo, but also deals with upcoming transits, and what we might expect from them. The Mars fixed T-Square is included.

http://www.astrologyinsights.com/events/current.html

This link is also basically about Saturn in Leo, with the addition of historical persepective.

http://www.universalastrology.com.au/article_20.htm

I'll be back later with more. The other day, I found a rather remarkable link that deals with the upcoming T-square, but now I can't find it. I hate when that happens! It spoke of the strong possibility of Bush starting another war, or the Iraq War heating up in a dramatic fashion. Ruh-roh!

Also, I have collected several other general Saturn in Leo links that offer a better analysis of this transit, including houses and other stuff. I had intended to start a thread on it, maybe tomorrow - barring any unforseen catastrophies - anyone interested?

One consistent note that I have found in these articles is that "during Saturn in Cancer, leaders treated the people like children who need a stern father(remind us of anyone?), but during Saturn in Leo, the people rebel and treat the leaders like children" - gotta love that! In fact, we might end up seeing more and more widespread demonstrations.

I hope we can continue discussing this upcoming T-square, because it is a significant one, rife with danger, and we need to pay attention to it.

PS: Eloriel, :loveya: right back at ya!

7. B possibly starting another war is what I am most worried about.
What is going on today is so incredibly terrifying.

I keep telling myself, sometimes things have to get worse before they get better -- and I think that is what is going on.

So deep down, I seem to have a fair amount of optimism about our situation, but at the same time I am full of trepidation.

I think it can go either way, but more likely will go the way we want it to go. But that doesn't mean WE will be safe. We have done so much damage to so many people, it seems to me that the universe wouldn't object to seeing us get some of what we have given out back.

The whole nexus of the collective to the individual -- I think that is what is always so hard to accept, or deal with. I mean, the collective can override the individual, don't you think? Just like the Holocaust. I do not believe all those folks in the gas chambers had that kind of tragedy in their personal charts, but that it was a collective and fated thing.

And now is another collective thing. I'm not sure what, but I am sure it has to do with the collective. Actually, I shouldn't say I don't know what. I think I do. I think we've gotten way off track, and many people, the majority perhaps, let themselves be lulled into a false sense of security. And this may have been deliberate, actually. But now things are coming to a head.

The Hopi Prophecies, and other Native American prophecies, seem to point to this being the tipping point. In some Native American prophecies, "the People" escape to the mountains in the west, and that is how they survive the time when the "gourds of ashes" get dropped on us, and burn the earth and make the oceans boil. (Sorry, I think I'm mixing prophecies there.)

Excuse me for getting so negative there. But that is why I am fearful. My imagination can get the better of me.

8. This site is free again until 8/27/05
moon is the log on
mystery is the password

Interesting site even for those of us not studying astrology.

Also for emcguffie. I know you realize that anything is possible. We don't have to go through a nuke attack. Even Edgar Cayce said back in the 40's that all of these predictions/prophecies can be changed with a change in us.

Maybe we can all handle this differently. The energy can be managed in a way that doesn't cause a nuke attack. At least that is my hope. Until we are all gone we always have hope. Your post just caused me to think about the ways we can support each other through this.

I felt I had to tell you I think at this point we'll do it differently and not demolish our planet. I hope those of us who believe this can keep this from happening.

9. No. Is he using the NYSE incorporation chart, or the first trade chart?
Edited on Sat Aug-27-05 03:58 PM by SimpleTrend
Anyone got the chartbirth data for both of those charts?

More edits:
The natal chart that shows the best results is the New York Stock Exchange founding date, May 15 1792, 8:52 am in New York City. This is sometimes called the "NYSE Incorporation chart" but factually there was no incorporation at that time (it was an informal agreement among a group of traders to organize trading with specific location and times).

By the way, fibonacci numbers are fascinating. 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21....

Here's more NYSE BIRTH DATA, but it doesn't say which chart this is:

New York Stock Exchange
May 17, 1792
10:10 AM
New York, NY
