Sanity Claws, I was thinking of you yesterday
Somehow I stumbled on a red tailed hawk in the park, close up, and got some pics of your power animal. Someone in the photography group said that it looked like a young one, so maybe that is why it wasn't freaked out by my car. Yup, these pics were taken from my car. I kept thinking, Sanity Claws would love this.

That bird is beautiful, powerful, and very alert. I would be honored if that bird allowed me to have him as my totem.

This site has some wonderful photos of a nesting pair and their eyasses (baby hawks).
