So this morning it was a duzzy. After hubby went to school I went back to sleep.
And lo and behold I was in the center of an empty plaza... which started to fill in with people, first a few, then thousands. So I asked, what this is about? Strike
Against who?
The useless pols.
So to make a long story short, at the end of the dream MILLIONS of people marched down on DC.No, not your usual march... people took over all government buildings. It was an old fashioned revolution... and I was there.
Strange dream indeed. Funny when the crowd took over the WH, and the Capitol... no, not a sit in. Physically removing all these people from power, and it was all very peaceful. It was the... you have been working for them all these years, while we have no work, and no food... (It looked like the depression and people have had it.. and I mean a technical definition of a depression)
The first session of the new congress... remove the US from all trade pacts, and re-establish an industrial policy...
No it was not a communist revolution...
But as I said, strange dream...
I've had those in the past, but I wonder at times if it is just me preparing to teach poli sci, or hitting onto something.

2. Welll the way that Bush lost power, in a way |
|
at the end Obama was dictating some policy even before final transfer.
And there is some shall we say... unrest in the air.

that the people demand change and force it to happen. It is very promising.
And, we, the people, seem to be in a depression, both economically and emotionally.

Sign Up Now To March For Working Families on 10.2.10! The coalition that is organizing the October 2 march on Washington has expanded to more than 170 organizations. The march is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of participants from across the country.
1199SEIU, the NACCP, the AFL-CIO, the National Council of La Raza, the United States Student Association and the Center for Community Change are among the sponsors of the march.
The march seeks to bring together the movement that helped elect President Barack Obama to demand the change the people voted for.
“We will fire up the troops of hope, unity and justice in this nation. This fall we are going to lead a great and mighty army that looks like America,”said Benjamin Jealous, president and chief executive officer of the NAACP, at the organization’s 101st annual convention July 12 -16 in Kansas City.
At the convention, the NAACP called upon the leaders of the tea party movement to expel its racist elements. He later commended the group after learning that the most offensive individuals and chapter had been expelled.
The divisive actions of the tea-party activists is one reason progressive leaders have united in the One Nation movement. A call to the demonstration reads: “To Unite America Through Hope, Not Hate.” Other major demands of the march are:
Jobs for all and an economy the works for all. Funding for health care and schools. Renewable energy and green jobs. Comprehensive immigration reform. Funding for human needs, not warfare. 1199SEIU has begun getting out the message to its members. Organizers and Delegates have begun distributing leaflets and sign-up cards within the institutions.

Love that! :applause:
Can anyone find a link to the One Nation movement/event itself? I'm only seeing sites where others are mentioning it...
Thanks. :hi:
